If we didnt already have hughes, id be more open to him but you cant have 2 defensive liabilities in your d core and expect to be a good team. Please tell us why (support your opinion with facts too) Hughes is a defensive liability. Because he’s actually not. He’s a brilliant player in all zones, with and without the puck. To be fair, more than a few people have a severely screwed up sense of time after what we all went through the last 2+ years. That said, Hughes made massive improvements in his defensive game last year. It was actually incredible to witness.
