We aren't re-signing Horvat to an 8x8 contract, so he either gets traded or walks in free agency. He won't be back next year. Seems like there is a cloud hanging over the team and some of the players. Boeser and Bo should be moved. Schenn too. I love Garland's game. He has a motor that just doesn't quit. Very impressed by how he bounced back up after that huge hit on him by Zadorov in the 3rd. My NYE was already ruined and even when I saw the score had changed to 3-1 then 3-2, I didn't bother turning it back on because somehow I knew they will still come up short. That has been the story of this team all season long -- never loses often enough for a high draft pick, never wins often enough to pull itself over the elusive playoff bar. They're just stuck somewhere in between perpetually, torturing us royal fans eternally. As for Miller, I can't imagine myself keep watching his blatantly lazy plays on ice and blatantly tone-deaf interviews off ice for the next whatever years. If the current regime doesn't find a way to ship Miller out we're looking at even darker years ahead. Have a horrible start slowly, very slowly, get some wins eventually get to almost 500 then lose get back to .500 then a game above .500 then lose then lose again.
