canuck73_3 Posted February 16, 2023 Share Posted February 16, 2023 Thoughts on the game, Bouchard was pretty impressive, moved the puck well had some good speed not atrocious defensively and belongs in the AHL like Heffy has said before. Nurse is dumb, absolutely larceny that moron got a 9mill contract. McDavid is amazing to watch, the things he can do at speed with no room is unreal. Draisaitl had a sneaky good game but a slow start and a pair of shifts he stayed on too long. Campbell made a few spectacular saves but was pretty mediocre otherwise. Calgary missing the playoffs would be a massive fail, but they would be right back to going all in next year with an even older roster. So many of their key guys are already 30 or about to turn 30.
