Not really as there isn't as many auto racing fans that are hockey fans and vice versa. Most in my circle are kinda one or the other. Even myself I stopped watching regularly when Hakkinen retired and pretty much altogether when Raikonnen retired. I just continued watching Nascar instead.

 

Steve also suggested having the game on Saturday not Sunday so your screeching Steve comment also makes little sense here.

Watched Villeneuve largely due to nationality.    Also really loved Zanardi and do even more with what he's done after the accident.  Hell of a competitor and athlete.

True story. I used to watched some racing and within a short time span I watched the Great Canadian Greg Moore and then Dale Earnhart die in crashes live as I watched. It turned me off racing for awhile. I do watch some F1 now with my boy.
