What qualified hockey person is going to want the damage to their reputation by taking a GM position working for a complete idiot who destroyed the previous franchise he was with?  Pittsburgh deserves what happens next with this incompetent dweeb.  It's going to take a decade to undo the damage he causes once he's replaced with someone who understands the sport.

What, you mean like buying out the one guy RON HEXTALL brought in during the trade deadline?  Read the atmosphere in Pittsburgh.  They are just happy they got rid of the worst GM in their franchise history, and he was only in charge for one year.

 

As for Toronto, they'll probably be just fine as long as Treliving does his job.  As long as they keep pushing for playoff spots, that franchise can always sign UFAs from Ontario.

King strikes again. Dubas made the Leafs a 115 point team while we watched the worst GM we ever had destroy our great Gillis club. 
Dubas will rebuild the Penguins and do a significantly better job doing so than Jim “I ran out of time” Benning did for us.

Guentzel is out at least 3 months which means no training or training camp. Probably won’t be back until November.

 

Wonder if wonderboy makes a trade for some scoring.

They can't use up Guentzel's cap space as they'll need to re-activate him once he's ready to return.  

 

They were already rumoured to be interested in Karlsson (- Karlsson himself confirmed that he had spoken to Dubas) and that might be an added incentive to try and trade for him.

I just saw Amanda Kessel got named as a Special Assistant to the GM. Did she retire? I thought she was still relatively young and still a star for the US national team. Should be a good pick up for Pittsburgh though.
