    The last AHL coach the Canucks promoted from their farm team was Vigneault, that worked out pretty good..

      Good point OP. I don't know what the "holdup" is, if there even is one, they may be looking hiring some assistants for Green and want to announce the whole new group at once. They could be waiting post lotto as well incase we drop to 5th again and want to have some good news.
