      Looks like an interesting choice for 4th line.  Tied for 15th in the NHL for hits, solid 205 lbs....doesnt have a minus season, even in college.

      No.  A first from the bottom half of the first round is not worth it. Demko is one of the best young goalies in the league.

      Too many assets have walked for nothing.  Tanev, Edler, Markstrom were pillars for this team.  Yeah i know they wanted to make the playoffs but the Canucks were short sighted.  Perhaps at least one of thes guys should have been moved for assets in years prior.

      Character issues perceived by fans of opposing teams will have zero play in the negotiations.  Tkachuk cant play C, but Tkachuk is also 5 years younger.

    ,you can't blame the coaches for the defensemen. jb has given them 2 top 4 dmen, 3  3rd pairing and4 #7,8 dmen.

      yup, ill agree with you.  5k fine at the most.  what gets me is the refs didnt call it a penalty yet the NHL department of player safety thinks it was serious enough to warrant a hearing.
