It's hard to be that clutch. Jensen will have to show that side of his game before such comparisons can be made.

True, but since Eberle has made it to the NHL he has become known for other facets of his game too.

Also, Jensen was as clutch as he could be playing for Denmark. He had no team and was the only one setting up goals, and put a couple in on his own. They needed him to be clutch at almost every minute of every game played. That aspect is hard to compare between the two, because of the very different teams and situations they have each played in.

I'm not sure about pure sniper. He's got the bet of all the main 3 dominant scorer types. He has this amazing toolkit consisting of his awesome shot, excellent vision and playmaking skills and his size and speed that he can use with his puck control to power his way to the net. He's a sniping power playmaker

I wouldn't really consider him a power forward. He has size, but that doesn't mean he uses it to consistently drive the net and wreak havoc. He does use his body effectively on the wall. Not much of a playmaker. He like to shoot and scores way more goals than he sets up.

If everything progresses smoothly with our prospects, which they rarely do, we will still have a wide open window to win the cup in 2-3 years.

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Booth - Schroeder - Kesler
Burrows - Gaunce - Jensen
Higgins - Lapierre - Hansen

Has the potential to be the best forwar group we've ever iced. Of course a ton of things have to go right.

Looks good. And I think guys like Mallet and Labate are sleepers who could really surprise us.

He is playing on the third line. He just gets minutes on the PP and PK.

I guess makes sense, but I can't figure out why they wouldn't just give him more time on second line unless he's a PP specialist.

He does like to shoot much more than pass but his vision is excellent and he has great playmaking skills, its just about how he chooses to play. As I said, he has this awesome tool kit, he just uses his shot more often, which is good because it's as strong as sharks with fricken lasers on their heads.

He's on the second line now, and has 2 points in 2 games (1G, 1A) while on that line.

What I like about his game is that, yes he does have a wicked wrister, but he is also able to score goals in different ways. Whether from the slots, from the point, from the side of the net, off rebounds, or parked in front of the net. That is what's going to make the difference for producing in the NHL.

And no one should expect him to be a playmaker, he's not. He's a pure goal score, and there's nothing wrong with that. A guy like Schroeder will be the playmaker. Jensen is more like Grabner with more size.

I thought I'd bump this now.

He's third in his team in total points (eight in 13 games), but he's first in goals, (six.)

Here's the link to AIK's stats.

Edit: man! He's got a crazy wrist shot!

Yeah, he does have good mobility too. Is there anywhere to watch recently archived AIK games?

Doubt it, you can barely catch them live on TV here in Sweden, they only cast a few games on a pay-channel, and managing to find entire games online... I don't think so. But you can see all his goals on their website.

Schroeder has been a dud this season.

Same with Tanev. How long is he going to get a free pass for having no offensive game? Because people are always praising him around here and inserting him into the line up.

From a positional stand point I think that is less likely. Jensen, also is more difficult to send back down, because he can't play in the AHL this year.
If Schroeder hasn't gotten a call up by the end of the year, then you might be right.

Jensen is my favorite prospect who hasn't played an NHL game.

I agree mostly, except for Tanev.

Not all defense-man are offensive, not all forwards are offensive, he plays a shutdown style of play and focuses on shutting people down. He is webers suter for edler or possibly K-naut in the future.

He's now at 7 goals in 14 games, which is tied for second in league in goals. Definitely a sniper, and showing little sign of slowing down.

9 points in 14 games isn't very impressive, a 3rd liner in Stalberg could put up over a ppg in the sel, and even 17 year old Elias Lindholm has more points
