Would it not be prudent to try and help the less fortunate by offering them unwanted animals for food? It would be the equivalent of recycling. Doesn't matter if it's a dog, cat, chicken or cow they couldn't without taking on a lot of expenses to make it legal and healthy. What a silly way to make a point. ronthecivil Posted November 23, 2012 Share Posted November 23, 2012 This further adds to the problem that Shelter's have to deal with in the first place- that non human animals are essentially viewed as "disposable". We shouldn't view non human animals as "recyclable". The effort should be made to change this view, and hence lessen the amount of unwanted animals that end up in shelters in the first place.
