Seeing as it is not illegal to eat dog and cat in Canada. Would it not be prudent to try and help the less fortunate by offering them unwanted animals for food? It would be the equivalent of recycling. Once you get past the taboo of using these animals for food, there is no reason to allow their bodies go to waste.

No they shouldn't for both legal and health reasons. Doesn't matter if it's a dog, cat, chicken or cow they couldn't without taking on a lot of expenses to make it legal and healthy.

What a silly way to make a point.

I think the health reason would be a good reason for this not to take place. A better idea is if everyone grew vegetables in their garden and donated them to a shelter.

Weird that someone who likes calling conservatives unintelligent pretty much makes the same suggestions as them

This further adds to the problem that Shelter's have to deal with in the first place- that non human animals are essentially viewed as "disposable". We shouldn't view non human animals as "recyclable". The effort should be made to change this view, and hence lessen the amount of unwanted animals that end up in shelters in the first place.

I understand the pragmatic point you are making, but it ignores the mission statement the SPCA holds.

The rendering plant disagrees.

Many products are made with dead animals!

No. It wouldn't be safe or cost effective.

Easier to just fund a food bank and hand out free drugs.

Why not feed the homeless to other homeless? You've got a two birds with one stone thing going on here.

By the way learn how to spell SHIRIKOV who is this shirakov

Amazingly on his first shift Kassian would have had a breakaway if Kesler knew how to pass. And he still got switched with Weiss. And note it is "Weiss" not "Wise".

What cats and dogs? Uh...no. Unless it's roadkill. But then if the homeless are too damn lazy to go and find their own roadkill, I can't help them.

What if we feed the homeless to the dogs?

Then they'll be healthy and everyone will adopt them.

Problem solved.

Basic summary:

1. Catch Homeless

2.Feed to dogs

3.Profit $$$$$$$$$$$
