Bleed Blue and Green
Like I said Brouwer + Tom Wilson two weeks ago, Ehem..

WHL rocks
I highly doubt Washington will be willing to make their current NHL roster worse to add Luongo. They are in a win now mentality feeling the pressure. You'll get Forsberg before getting Carlson or Alzner
CptCanuck16
Your being sarcastic right?Luongo would never in a million years be traded for ovi.
WHL rocks
MG won't take the risk with a Russian, he won't sacrifice Luongo for a guy who may never come to the NHL.
Kumquats
This reminds me of the draft from a couple seasons ago when Gillis was seen talking with Yzerman. Which obviously meant that we were getting Stamkos!! This time, we are getting Crosby and Ovechkin in a wicked 3 team trade!!!
Ghostsof1915
That was just the weirdest goal on Vokoun.
DIBdaQUIB
I believe Brouwer would be an excellent fit on this team. I also believe the bad blood between him and the Canucks would be buried. Luongo is playing amazing. Unless trading Luongo brought a huge return, don't trade Luongo.
mpt
Holtby Forsberg/Mojo Brouwer/Orlov will be my guess. No way Washington gives up a key piece of their current roster. I've actually been saying Washington since last summer. Finally there might be some reality to my thoughts

cloutier123
Kuznetsov will definetly be in the top 6. He's a big, strong and very skilled centerman. Only thing is Kuznetsov won't come over next year as he's signed with KHL.

kanucks1
I told you Lu is going to D.C. Just MG playing the game. Making it look like a deal is close with Washington to get the other teams off their butts and anti-up.
Everybody Hates Raymond
I'm not saying it's going to happen, or even that I think it will happen. I wouldn't put it past Gillis, though, to make a play for Ovechkin IF the Capitals are entertaining trading him. Gillis has shown that he's the type of GM who is willing to make a splash or do something drastic. Remember when he made that 2 year, $20 million offer to Sundin? Who saw that coming? Again, I don't think it'll happen, but really only because I don't believe Ovechkin is available. If he was available, absolutely I believe Gillis would make a serious play for him. forklift_ole
The Caps would need some offense going their way too (Higgins or Booth maybe, Raymond if they think they can re-sign him), but they would totally relish Luongo.
NuxFan09
The 2 year, 20 million offer was incredibly idiotic and we have to thank Mats for not taking it. If he did, we would have lost the Sedins to free agency as we wouldn't have had the cap space. That offer was one of Gillis's worst moves - the one year deal was far better. Slegr
Exciting stuff! I would totally prefer Luongo going to Washington or Pitts than Toronto. Washington does have some pieces worth trading for. It feels like something is close now.
cloutier123
This team needs a shake-up and an injection of offensive talent. Trade anyone you have to in order to get it or the Nucks arn't going anywhere.
