silver_surfer Posted March 16, 2013 Share Posted March 16, 2013 DeKeyser is doubtful, he knows he has a better shot at cracking the lineup in TB and Det. Apparently the Wings are his fav team too. Sustr and Laganierre would be perfect additions to the Canucks and have a fair shot of making the team next season. Hopefully the farm moves to Abbotsford so we can watch these guys. Most people will immediately think Chara, but Sustr apparently doesn't play with much of an edge. He uses his positioning and hockey sense rather than his body. thad Posted March 16, 2013 Share Posted March 16, 2013 Neither was Chara when he first broke into the NHL with the Islanders...he didn't start playing physical until 3-4 seasons into his NHL career. The only big, talented guys that I can recall stepping into the NHL and being a dominant physical force immediately are Scott Stevens, Chris Pronger and to some degree Luc Phaneuf.
