Everyone loves Jensen until he comes up, plays fourth line minutes, and makes no impact to the team what so ever! Quote me on it.

Sadly prophetic, but I agree. Too many fanns with a one-dimensional view.

If he needs to play why can't he play in the NHL? Does AV want us to lose all of our games.

short answer yes

It frightens me how many people post their completely reactionary, unfounded opinions, and do so with such vehemence. For goodness sake, it's a forum where you have to type out a response, no one is rushing you. Take a minute, read a few of the intelligent posts that actually explain the issue (conditioning stint), and calm down.

When you post something completely irrelevant like "fire AV" you just make yourself look foolish.

It won't kill you to think for a minute before posting. We really need to do a better job of reinforcing this in our schools.

The problem is that they think they're hockey geniuses. Nothing anyone else says matters because it surely can not hold a candle to their infinite wisdom. It's not that they can't read other people's posts, it's that they don't care. Thus they don't learn, and thus they are complete idiots.

Not a big deal sending Kass down. He's having trouble playing like we know he can, he has ever since his back originally gave him trouble near the start of the season. Throwing his weight around in the minors will help him get back to his game. The body is willing I think, the mind is just tentative at the moment.

I think it was Keslers second game back that Kass had a bad he gave away the puck 2 or 3 times in his own end that was the last time he was given an offensive roll AV IS A CLOWN!

Kassian:
Last 19 games:
0 goals
2 assists
-8 (horrendous defense)

He's been one of our worst players in the line-up, deserves to get sent down.

yikes ... here come the cody lovers .....   ughhh ......

You would have to be a moron to not like Cody's game. The kid is a winner and will be a big star in the NHL for years to come. We,the 'Cody lovers' as you have called us, know that we have to wait on Kassian. Time will tell if the trade was good or not. Kassian has to learn to play with some consistency no matter which line he is on. So far he has not earned the right to displace Burrows on the 1st line (which is where the 'Kassian lovers' have decided the rookie should play). Touche.

Gotta love it stop playing the guy then wonder why he isnt scoring? Kinda hard to keep your points on pace when you go from 1st line to 4th line to healthy scratch in 2 weeks.

I'm hoping it lights a fire under Kassian for when he comes back (because you know he will). The team needs a little shake up to get the offensive back.

One day some of us will look back on the year and look at the chicago, and most of us will realize that it was a small bump in the road to the cup

I just hope he comes back under a new coach...not this jackass we have who likes to sit players for little or no reason.

Makes sense to me. Schroeder came back up with some extra jump after a stint with the Wolves, hopefully Kassian will too!

Wow he's really become AV's whipping boy after having that great start to the season. Guess Ballard's just glad that's not him .

OMG SUNDIN.

I think if you give most talented players the type of minutes he was getting they would have similar numbers AV just dont have a stiffy for him maybe he turned AV down ya never know!

Buddy you're the delusional fan boy, since last January this team hasn't produced a thing outside of goalie stealing games.

None of the fanbase that knows the game was surprised that they went out in 5 last year but I bet you were.

you do know the difference between "last january" and "years" right?

we were also the 5th in goal for last season, it's hardly struggling no matter how you slice it.

You must admit that it is usually highlighted when that is the purpose

Sami Salo sent down for conditioning

I don't see that anywhere

A little knowledge goes a long way.

Kassian isn't waiver eligible. They don't need to qualify sending him down like a veteran. Without specifying "conditioning stint", which is short term, Salo would have needed to clear waivers.

Schroeder is doing well since he was brought back up not because of a stint back with the Wolves, but because he has been put on the line where he does his best, not stuck on the 4th where he's sure to fail.

Couple posts up; Gillman is quoted as suggesting we don't have the luxury of guys playing themselves into condition.

Hopefully he was not losing the conditioning he worked so hard for in summer. But a bad back mucks up a lot, sometimes you can't walk or sleep never mind work on fitness. For the moment, I'm happy to see a conditioning stint.

But I'm also getting confused over this pattern of guys getting bursts of chances to play in key situations, playing well; then the rug gets pulled out. See Kassian, but also Ballard, Byron Bitz looked good in a stint with the Twins then was banished. Brendon Saad has 19 points and has been given the grace to make mistakes. Saad gives his team has a balance lineup up because they don't have all their top players on the top line.

You must admit that it is usually highlighted when that is the purpose

You think if Cody missed a handful of games in Buffalo with back spasms they would send him down for conditioning?

Yes, because it's in a coaches best interest to ensure players fail. That's how coaches get contract extensions and raises.

I pay attention,,,and the reasons I see are pretty weak...so enlighten me and say how Kassian wasnt scoring once removed from the 1st line...but I guess Bill Sweat is the answer seeing as the Canucks are in a playoff race and dont have the luxury of waiting for players to play into shape..the party line is getting pretty thin to believe anymore...but you pay attention so I guess you know all that.
