MANGO
They will thank us fans for being the best in the league and that's it.For them there is still business to be done to close the year out, clean out lockers, that kind of thing. Take a few weeks to evaluate the situation. No announcements regarding coaching or GMing positions till after the play-offs are over.
The Brahma Bull
Guy Boucherrrrrrrr or Dan Bylsma if the Islanders lay the smackdown on Fleury.
Niklas Jensen
Lindy Ruff, Andy Murray would be cool. And if Gillis is fired, I would welcome back Pat Quinn or Brian Burke.

Coconuts
I'm just hoping something positive comes of it, like announcing AV is finished. Though it'll probably just be a collection of cliches and excuses.
Boudrias
I think MG needs another coach that plays a bit more up-tempo while putting less emphasis on defense (LESS, not NONE)... in all of AV's years he's only played this style ONCE... I'd give MG another shot at finding the right coach for the players he signed, and the style of game he wants our team to play AV has to be gone though, HAS to
DeNiro
If Gillis comes in with his stat sheet for powerplays as an excuse, Aquillini should bust in and escort him out. All I wanna hear is, we weren't good enough, changes need to be made, and I'm gonna do everything I can to make this team better.
BlueShark
If AV gets fired it's not because he's a bad coach, it's because the team needs a new spark and new direction. There's a reason why long term coaches rarely win the cup. Players just stop buying into what they're selling after years of falling short. AV is a defense first coach trying to coach an offense first team. Gillis should have realized this the moment he got here. Either give him big two way players to coach, or hire a new coach. It showed in the Boston series when our skilled guys went up against big two way players. Av couldn't adapt. So don't blame AV. He is what he is. Blame Gillis for not providing him with the players he needed to have success.
hsedin33
They need to be less tame and boring. No identity at all. Management.
kirkmclean1994
I really hope the Vancouver media has the guts to ask Gillis some hard and poignant questions like the Edmonton media did with Kevin Lowe.

Airjasper
I doubt they will announce AV being gone already. I just wish somebody would say it like it is and call out the reffing. Something needs to change. I'm sick of watching the Canucks be the red-headed step child of the NHL. 24-10....Unreal...6 powerplays/game to 2.5...This team never had a chance. gradin123
MG on Thursday. We feel like we were close in this series and the 4 game sweep doesn't represent how close the play was. But, we do have to continue to try and get better. We as a orgaization will evaluate all aspects of our organization in the coming weeks including the caoching staff and myself. We do feel that the officiating was not balanced in this series and although we are not using that as a excuse when you have games that are decided by a very close margin things like officiating can be a factor. Going forward I feel the nucleus of this team is still solid and we are not that far off the team that came one win from the Stanley Cup. We clearly have some areas we can improve on but we don't feel wholesale changes are needed.
