With teams needing to get their training camp rosters down to a maximum of 23 players by Monday afternoon, a number of NHL players found themselves placed on waivers Sunday. The players must now wait 24 hours to find out whether they have been claimed by another club or will be re-assigned Monday afternoon. Apple Juice Posted September 29, 2013 Share Posted September 29, 2013 Too bad for his high cap hit, otherwise I wouldn't mind seeing John Michael Liles in a Canuck uniform Darroll Powe would be a solid addition to our lineup. I'm pretty sure if Torts loved him in New York, mostly for his solid defensive play and faceoff prowess, we'd pick him up for depth, which I don't mind because Powe is a much better addition to our 4th line than Sestito or Weise.
