I am unsure if this will be allowed or not but it seems easier to update this one page than to make 311 different topics regarding who has been waived today.

If there is a thread for this mods just lock this thread please.

And.....here we go. LOTS of potential pick ups available Liles on waivers Emmerton from Detroit.

The waiver wire has lit up ahead of Monday's NHL roster deadline.

With teams needing to get their training camp rosters down to a maximum of 23 players by Monday afternoon, a number of NHL players found themselves placed on waivers Sunday.

Sunday's waiver list is as follows:

Edmonton: Philip Larsen, Ryan Hamilton.

Toronto: Korbinian Holzer, T.J. Brennan John-Michael Liles, Trevor Smith, Troy Bodie, Drew McIntyre.

Winnipeg: Patrice Cormier, Adam Pardy.

The Oilers also claimed Luke Gadzic from the Dallas Stars.

Other waiver placements on Sunday include:

Anaheim: Nolan Yonkman,

Boston: Nick Johnson,

Buffalo: Alexander Sulzer,

Carolina: Chris Terry,

Chicago: Ryan Stanton,

Colorado: Guillaume Desbiens,

Detroit: Cory Emmerton,

Florida: Joey Crabb, Colby Robak,

Los Angeles: Jeff Schultz,

New Jersey: Cam Janssen,

NY Islanders: Joe Finley,

NY Rangers: Stu Bickel, Brandon Mashinter, Darroll Powe,

Pittsburgh: Andrew Ebbett, Chris Conner,

All players placed on waivers Saturday cleared unclaimed.

Too bad for his high cap hit, otherwise I wouldn't mind seeing John Michael Liles in a Canuck uniform

Darroll Powe would be a solid addition to our lineup. I'm pretty sure if Torts loved him in New York, mostly for his solid defensive play and faceoff prowess, we'd pick him up for depth, which I don't mind because Powe is a much better addition to our 4th line than Sestito or Weise.
