Master Mind
On to the next division. My picks: Metroid. Easily one of my most favourite franchises, with Super Metroid and Metroid Prime being 2 of the greatest games ever made. Top of the line gameplay, atmosphere, enemies, powerups, it's simply an incredible franchise. Wario. The Wario Ware games were really weird but really fun, though it's the Wario Land games that make this franchise so good. The best being Wario Land 3, which felt almost like a mix of Super Mario World and Super Metroid. The result, is the best platformer of all time, in my opinion, yes even ahead of the Mario games. Doom. FPS games wouldn't be where they are today if it weren't for Doom. The Space Marine went to hell and back more than once. He's the king of shooters. Worms. These games were always very fun and addicting to play I found. Never gets old. Link to comment
MikeyBoy44
Worms was alright. I enjoyed banjo way more. Couldn't vote for mass effect never played it. Link to comment
Go Faulk Yourself
Metroid and Banjo.. Two of my favourite game series from my childhood. Doom Mass Effect. Link to comment
Stark
I loved Spyro. Along with Pokemon, Metroid was my favourite game growing up. Also picked Worms and Mass Effect Link to comment
Voice of the Voiceless
Voting Metroid Wario Doom Worms Link to comment
MikeyBoy44
The problem I always with worms was the gameplay was completely repetitive. Terrain changed but always the same damn attacks. Half hour was more than enough for me. Link to comment
g_bassi13
Metroid - I've enjoyed F-zero games in the past, but this is an easy decision. Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, Damn awesome list. Wario - I've never cared for any Wario games I've played, but this an Anti-Mass Effect vote. edit: Actually the Wario-Ware games have been decent. DOOM - I've beaten DOOM 1 so many times I've lost count Banjo - This one was tough, because I love playing worms, but I have a hard time voting against games made by Rare, especially when Rare is at their best. Alchemy Time
Metroid (obviously) Mass Effect (was great until the last half of 3) Spyro (Doom was ground-breaking, but I loved playing Spyro as a kid. Nostalgia vote) Worms (love these games and I've never played Banjo) Link to comment
:D
Spyro (Doom was ground-breaking, but I loved playing Spy to as a kid. Nostalgia vote) Was Doom groundbreaking? While it was a very popular game, it was just riding the coattails of Wolfenstein 3D Link to comment
avelanch
Was Doom groundbreaking? While it was a very popular game, it was just riding the coattails of Wolfenstein 3D yeah doom wasn't really groundbreaking outside of the setting/material (demons on mars) Link to comment
Master Mind
Surprisingly a lot fewer votes this time. Shall we wait for some more votes or just move on? Link to comment
Alchemy Time
Really? I always hear about how ground-breaking Doom was from my older relatives. Oh well, my vote for Spyro is only strengthened then. Link to comment
GLASSJAW
Surprisingly a lot fewer votes this time. Shall we wait for some more votes or just move on? Each series listed has like one, maybe two good games IMO. for the most part, these are all one pony dynasties. Except Metroid I guess. But even that I never was a big fan of Link to comment

I wouldn't say one pony dynasties, they all had at least 2 good games, but I get your point. Except Metroid I guess. But even that I never was a big fan of You're the only person I've ever heard say that... Link to comment
