YummyCakeFace
Texas fans can now shut their low brow mouths about Bautista after Gomez does his ridiculous home run trot.
Ghostsof1915
Why does Gibbons get a pass in the blame game, yet TSN 1040 jumps right to blaming the GM? As far as I'm concerned Gibbons is not the answer.

RUPERTKBD
I'm usually a supporter of Gibby, but he painted himself into a corner last night. He knew Osuna wasn't available, but he still gave Happ the early hook. JA had been getting righties out all night and there was no reason to believe that he couldn't get another one in the 7th. That move didn't really hurt, as Barnes was able to close the inning, but taking Tepera out after a 2 out, excuse me single was a huge blunder. Without Osuna or Smith, Tepera is far and away the Jays' best option to close and he should have been left into finish what he started. Grilli has been a liability lately and hoping for him to revert to form with the game on the line is a sucker's bet.... RUPERTKBD
Another disappointing loss today, but the start by Marco has to be encouraging. Right now the biggest issue for the team is Osuna's health....

Can't help but to wonder what an experienced playoff bench boss would do with this team. What buttons would he push?

ChuckNORRIS4Cup
Good old video from Zaun when Gibbons was originally rehired, key words Shocked and Gutsy and to hear Zaun say lots of other candidates were available and AA went with Gibbons, a change needs to be made. ChuckNORRIS4Cup
It was just a matter of time before this happened tbh. Jason Grilli's flame with the Toronto Blue Jays has been extinguished. The team announced Tuesday the right-hander has been designated for assignment. Grilli, 40, posted a 6.97 ERA in 26 appearances for the Blue Jays this season, averaging 10 strikeouts and 3.9 walks per nine innings. In corresponding moves, the Blue Jays recalled right-hander Chris Smith, optioned outfielder Dwight Smith Jr. to the minors, and activated outfielder Ezequiel Carrera from the disabled list. RUPERTKBD
There's still a long way to go and the Jays have never really been healthy this season, but it's looking less and less like they'll be in the postseason this year. With that in mind, here's an article that gives some reason for optimism in the future: http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/big-read-know-blue-jays-prospect-bo-bichette/ It's a long read, but very interesting, especially if you like to keep tabs on Jays' prospects.

Well your right in a way they're starting to lose ground last couple weeks, some how they're still in it luckily, but their next 20 games will be the final decision imo. Wilbur
Looks like Osuna is back. Nice way to end the game. Plus, it's almost July and Smoak is still hitting above .300. I wonder what a prop bet on that would've paid off in March?
