Announcement: RGMG: The Pool is very pleased to announce the hiring of @Monty as the GM of the Los Angeles Kings - we are excited to have another active member on board!

This marks another positive step towards world domination for RGMG! Muhahaha.

(In all seriousness though, we're happy with the positive steps the league has taken in the last couple weeks thanks to people like @Monty. Welcome!)

Thanks Tigs!

For those of you who know me, and I make it a goal of mine to be as intrusive in peoples lives as possible, I try and be as active as I possibly can be, while keeping things as light as I can.

As far as trade talk/etc, I'll always respond to PMs in a timely fashion. When I first join a league, I'm usually a little gunshy in reaching out for trade negotiations (pre-expansion in this case), as I'm not familiar with what another teams needs are. So if you want to discuss something, please reach out to me, as I will not be familiar with other guys' capsheets for quite a few months.

I appreciate the opportunity to come on board and I look forward to working with you all.

Does this mean LA will fall apart and lose the first round, like typical Monty fashion?

Yes. Yes it does.

Wow unbelievable. Can't believe I'm in the 2nd round of the playoffs when I was a bottom feeder at first when I took over. A remarkable turn around by my team. A couple of moves really have done wonders for my team and are continuing their hot streak from where they left off in the regular season. Hopefully they keep their production going as it's going to be a team effort from here on out with few players being eliminated.

Vesey - Letestu - Oshie

Paajarvi - Ryan

Only having a handful of players left will be tough but they've been key contributors for their respective teams. Good luck @Dion Phaneuf in what should be a tight series. Best of luck to all remaining teams. The Rangers are gunning for you all

Pretty disappointing finish to the season, best of luck to all teams that made it through though!

We're excited to see how next season goes. We have a lot of high quality young players up and coming in Ristolainen, Provorov, Strome, Meier, Benson and Debrincat which is pretty cool considering where we finished in the regular season. A couple of the offseason goals will be to improve depth as best we can and also get some key players re-signed.

What a series! Poor @Mimerez, he had the 3rd best playoff lineup. I'm pleasantly surprised with how well my team did. Not sure if they can keep that up though.

Sharks Round 2 Lineup

Draisaitl - McDavid - Hornqvist

Johansson - Bonino - Williams

Eller

Klefbom - Manson

Irwin - Orpik

Ruhwedel

Talbot

I assume black aces can be added if needed? I still have a few, but no point adding them in unless they actually play, to save some time.

Spoiler

Chris Kunitz (PIT) *INJ

Jujhar Khaira (EDM)

Sean Day (NYR)

Jonas Gustavsson (EDM)

Nick Ellis (EDM)

You guys have an immediate shot at getting even haha. Should be a close series, the ANA/EDM matchup will be a huge factor for us. Best of luck.

I think it will depend on whether Anaheim can shut down Edmonton's top line, and eliminate them quickly. If not, we're pretty screwed (once again).

Announcement:

1. The Los Angeles Kings have room to add an expansion eligible defenseman.

For a good time, PM @Monty and @D-Money.

Update:

Hellebuyck has been traded.

We still have several spots open to add expansion eligible defensemen. So if you're worried about losing one, or looking to update your forwards or prospect pool, we're open for biznatch.
