Ok I prefer Virtanen playing on the 3rd line I wanna give Rodin's offensive ability a chance but in general I wouldnt consider Hansen a 2nd liner. Hes more of a solid 3rd liner to me. Switch virt and hansen if needed for mentoring and responsibility roles on both lines. That's pretty much what I would like to see too. The secondary scoring kid line has potential and would be fun to watch, and the shut down line looks very solid, as do the defensive pairings. Hairy Kneel
We are at the mercy of fate. We need a few of our young forwards to ante up like Hutton did. If not we're in for another frustrating season of development. For the top 6 forwards we need a scoring winger, for the 4th line a hard hitting forechecker, and maybe throw in a faceoff kid with hands. The trade options seem pretty bare right now. Between Grenier, Zalew & Gauncer, 2(at least) are gonna be flying. Just feel the Granny deal was redundant...
Whale Tail
Sedin Sedin Erickson Baer Horvat Sutter Etem Granlund Hansen Burrows Gaunce Dorsett Rodin Is still not 100%, Zalewski and Grenier could surprise as well. Horvat helps increase 2nd line scoring. Both Horvat and Sutter can break in. Baer is a playmaker. Sutter is the trigger man. Speed 3rd line and solid vet presence with Gaunce. Just realized Virt isn't in the line up. Guess he goes to AHL. I wouldn't mind Green getting him for a few months.

H & S could FO on their strong sides? Not too shabby.

He's so valuable to this team. He just brings everything you want and need and he is the type of player that will not lose his speed as he ages. Given he's such a solid 2 way player, the guy can likely play effectively for us until he's 38 in some capacity (3/4th line).

Crabcakes
I think the top line is going to be offensive. I think that one of the second or third line is going to be defensive (obviously the other is going to focus on offence) And the 4th line is going to be (mostly) a developmental line. Having said that, 1. Sedin Sedin (Eriksson)(Hansen) if line 2 is defensive 2. Burrows Sutter Hansen if line 2 is offensive 2. Baertschi Sutter Eriksson (I like this line) if line 3 is defensive 3. Burrows Horvat Virtanen if line 3 is offensive 3. Baertschi Horvat Virtanen 4. Gaunce Granlund Dorsett Rodin is clearly a wild card. Burrows, I'm not confident about, would you substitute Etem? Let's try Sedin Sedin Hansen Baertschi Sutter Eriksson Etem Horvat Virtanen Burrows (Gaunce) Granlund Dorsett or Sedin Sedin Hansen Baertschi Sutter Eriksson Etem Horvat Rodin Gaunce (Burrows) Granlund Dorsett and shoot Virt to Utica we'll find out at camp..... Team Bagues
I think this would be best for a Timmy re-toolathon... Sedin Sedin Rodin Burr BoHo Erikson Baer Sutter Hansen Etem Granlund Dorsett Edler Juloevi Hutton Gudbranson Tyrmankin Tanev Miller/Markstrom In the spirit of re-tooling why not put Rodin, a skilled Euro potential to cycle guy with Dank and Hank. Teach the youngster the game from the best. If Erikson is truly the two-way guy he is billed to be why not put him with BoHo to teach that game; without a doubt the BoHo Bergevon comparisons would spike... add Burr for seasoning. The bottom six are just that , and can move up in the case of injuries. Anyone remember who mentored Matthius? Let's get Edler to be Juloevi's Salo. I love Virt but the A is probably best. Kesler took a few years to arrive, as did Bert, but when they did!!!! Gaunce can be the 13th fill-in, and push Granlund to not be a baby. In closing this is our best developmental line-up, with potential to make the playoffs. Please forward to Trevor and JB when possible.
