Official Tie-Breakers: Number of seeds correctly predicted for a team if still tied... Lowest seed correctly predicted (since it's a lot harder to correctly guess lower seeds than high seed) Hopefully that breaks up any ties we may have. Nail
A heads up to all GMs as well, players in Europe/College will only be signing in the NHL if they are NHL ready or close to that. This may allow players to develop more than they would in the AHL, and also give you a free scouting report that they can play in the NHL! 1

Zfetch
Anal Premier: Av R Yo. AHL. What iz it all about? Av R. What is that all about? Is it good or is it whack? A random forest regression was applied to determine how important each variable is on a player's Av R.Below are the results: Variable: +/- Importance: 47% Variable: SOG Importance: 8% Variable: PI Importance: 6% Variable: GP Importance: 5% Variable: SB Importance: 5% Variable: P Importance: 4% Variable: HT Importance: 3% Variable: GA Importance: 3% Variable: TA Importance: 3% Variable: G Importance: 2% Variable: A Importance: 2% Variable: PPp Importance: 2% Variable: Sh Importance: 2% Variable: FO Importance: 2% We can see now and confirm that Av R is indeed a scam. Popular Post Master Mind
The Sharks finished the regular season with 121 points, 10 more than last year, and 1 win shy of the President's Trophy. We meet @Alain Vigneault's Stars in round 1, a team we split the regular season series with. Offensively, each team has 1 40-goal scorer and 1 80-point player. However, the Sharks have 3 additional 70-point players and a pair of 30-goal scorers, while the Stars have just 1 other 70-point player and no other 30-goal scorers. San Jose with the edge here. Defensively, it's Zubov and Ehrhoff as each team's #1, with Daley and Spacek vs Carle and Vlasic following up. Feels pretty even. In goal, it's a rematch of the previous two year's cup final: Tim Thomas vs Kari Lehtonen. Will Kari out-duel Tim again, or will Tim finally solve the Sharks? These two have proven fully capable of being top notch goaltenders, and should be close again here. Special teams are where Dallas has its biggest advantage. The two teams met late in the season, with the Sharks winning. That means AV is likely to change his lines, looking for a winning combo, meaning I will have to change lines in anticipation of this. 4D chess strategies will be used here. Best of luck to you AV in what should be a tight low scoring series! 5 1
