  1. haha no one would want dorsett. That trade has a better chance of happening without him. And it still won't happen.
  2. Wow he is just ripping it up right now. I don't really care where he plays next year as long as he continues with amazing play like this! Our prospect pool just keeps looking nicer and nicer!
  3. He's good, proving he can step up in big situations when needed. Super stoked on his future here
  4. Are you kidding me. Don't be so dumb and ignorant. What you say may be true but its only due to the discrimination, racism and horrors black people have faced for over a hundred years! If you, your ancestors and their ancestors had been treated the same way there would be no difference. One can not be trodden on, enslaved and continuously put down without a problem. Americas problem runs in old white man idealisms past down to their kids, and idiots like trump feeling anger and hate. Don't be such an ignorant child. No one wants to read your bulls@hit on this site....just leave
  5. The reason I actually mentioned Sutter with the Sedins is because he plays well there. I would be fine with moving Baertschi but would rather move Sutter if we can. Sutter+Hutton for ?.. Although we haven't seen much of him, Shore seems to be playing well and could be our 3rd/4th line centre next year but I think if Granlund can play C and practice face-offs more he could be a #2C. Not an elite 2 C but a good one with the right line mates. Honestly I don't think this team can move forward and be competitive with the Sedins still here. They are still great players but we need those spots for younger up and coming guys. It would be awesome if they were traded but don't see it happening. Also don't see them being resigned after next year. Baer-Horvat-Boeser Eriksson-Granlund-Goldy
  6. Baertschi-Horvat Boeser Eriksson-Granlund-Goldy Sedins-Sutter Could be fun to watch actually and Id like to see Granlund play centre again
  7. I agree that Juolevi might not be in the NHL next year but I don't think the Knights are going to benefit him anymore. So its the Canucks or Europe. Personally I think Canucks because there is room for him if he can prove himself. Benning will trade a D this summer for an offensive forward, if he doesn't he will have failed, especially with all his talk of doing so. Plus the expansion draft in which it looks quite possible that Sbisa gets taken unless he or another Vet D are traded. So assuming that one will be traded this summer, how do you see our D corps shaping up next summer?
  8. Depends on the player, some players may be gifted offensively and not very good otherwise. Look at Subban in his younger days. A lot of times it just takes time for a player to become complete. This team needs offence and Goldy can bring that so he needs to be played in a way in which he'll succeed. He'll grow as a more complete player with more experience.
  9. haha Boucher has enough problems defensively in his own end. Las thing he needs is to be more confused. Goldy needs to work hard and show that he belongs. The skill is evident but whether or not he can work hard every shift is questionable right now.
  10. I agree that Juolevi might not be a first pairing guy just yet. But thats why I put him beside Tanev, to shelter him and add a Veteran presence back there. And if you want to look at a rookie playing top line minutes and doing it well. Look no farther then our own team and our little engine that could, Stetcher. He's been doing really well considering his size and theres no reason to think Juolevi can't do the same with his hockey IQ. I really see our D being shaken up next year and a balanced D corp will be needed with all of our young players. Juolevi-Tanev......... The shut down Vet teaching Juolevi how its done. Sbisa-Gudbranson............Two big tough guys that can shut down others top lines. Tryamkin-Stetcher..........Two younger guys that are going to grow up together on our team and be a force in the future. Its not a cup winning D yet just due to inexperience but it has the potential to be extremely solid in a few years. Plus we want to play kids next year and get another high draft pick. Trading Edler and hutton will help do that.
  11. Dont underestimate the value of Edler. He's still a top pairing D man with a few good years left in him. Look at what Burrows got in return and you'd think Edler would fetch a first+ or A level prospect+. Edler could net a good amount if he'd waive. Have to imagine our D group is shaken up quite a bit next year. If Edler was traded id be very happy and if we got a really good forward for Hutton Id be stoked Juolevi-Tanev Sbisa-Gudbranson Tryamkin-Stetcher If Edlers not traded before the expansion draft then Sbisa is probably gone instead.
  12. Ya you have to imagine Benning is going to sign him and bring him to Utica. Exciting thinking of all these prospects down there next year!
  13. My guess would be Sbisa or Edler moved before the expansion draft or Vegas will be given a low pick to protect Sbisa. Hutton and maybe a prospect like McEneny/Subban moved as well. Personally Im hoping Hutton+ for a first, Dallas or Arizona maybe?
  14. Hes a work in progress prospect, thats for sure. Glad to see him continuously elevating his game as the years gone on. Personally I think he's going to be a big piece going forward for us (pun intended). Excited to see what he can do next year, hopefully in the AHL for half a year.
  15. haha we might have a cup though if we played a little dirtier and tougher. Skills are great but you need to have anger too if you want to win.
  16. Juolevi won't be on the Knights next year. He just looks bored and even their analyst/reporter thinks he will move on. Wont mind him being on the Canucks next year but think overseas would be better for his development. Canucks are absolutely going to suck next year so it might be better to keep our promising prospects in different places rather then on a losing team next year.
  17. Tryamkin is a natural LD and will probably be more effective and develop more there. Trade Hutton and edler(preferably) or tanev before the deadline. Sbisa-Tanev Tryamkin-Stetcher Juolevi-Gudbranson Younger, stronger and more offensively capable. Don't really want to see Hutton go, but with other prospects knocking on the door soon that are similar calibre I'll be happy with another offensive prospect. Pedan-McEneny Subban-Brisebois etc.
  18. My point is that when a player is sick or injured their play declines. Goldy is probably not as bad as everyone is saying, but instead just not healthy enough to compete effectively. If you want an example look at sedin in the face-off dot last year because of his injury. What Im saying is you can't judge a young prospect who isn't completely healthy. goldy needs to play NHL minutes to get used to the game here. Seasoning in the AHL not required just health and confidence.
  19. Wow people, HE WAS SICK AND LOST 15LB"S A WEEK AGO!!!!!!! Stop @#$@ing ragging on him already. He's a kid who has barely played in the NHL, isn't up to strength due to being sick and would probably still not be playing yet if we didn't have so many other injures. Give the kid a break already. Especially since these are meaningless games and no Canuck is playing there best hockey right now. give him next year and if it doesn't work for him, oh well. But damn people are being ignorant right now.
  20. The thing you seem to fail to realize is that one can be a great AHLer and not make the NHL yet help other prospects reach those heights through good play in the AHL. Put Dahlen with talented AHLers like Valk or Archibald and their AHL skill will help guys like Dahlen improve. If you have an AHL team full of NHL calibre prospects then your dreaming. The AHL is a developmental league just for prospects like Dahlen, that's the whole point of them.
  21. Good thing theres twelve forwards on an NHL team. Lots of room for Jake if he plays well next training camp and beyond.
  22. Yep exactly, and if Dahlen plays well he might even get a callup to the big club due to lack of offensive prospects. Virtanen, Boeser, Goldobin, Valk?, Labate, Cassels, 2017 pick?, Macewan etc at forward Subban, likely Brisebois, Neill, McEneny, Pedan etc. and Demko in net. There is potentially going to be a lot of youth in Utica next year. Many that could make the NHL. Both the AHL and Sweden are good options and you can see why he'd go either way.
  23. I was thinking that he could be asked to waive and still not be taken.
