  1. A year of grad school at UBC costs less than a year of undergrad at state school my alma mater…this, including that I'd likely pay UBC at a higher rate as an international student :wacko:

      @ThrustyPrusty89..wouldnt that be cool if you came and stayed here for a year or two...think of the games you would see and your BFF could stay with you..looking forward to you arriving soon.

      @GLASSJAW We'll they list ~$13K in living expenses, but that's a given no matter where you go to school. I was very surprised by the listed base tuition cost, but I'm sure there are additional fees that I am either not seeing, or aren't listed.

       

      @ShakyWalton It would be cool! I told bf to apply all over the country/Canada. My grades are slightly below what UBC is looking for. I would likely try finding work over going to school, tbh :(

      Are you positive it's 8200 for a year? Especially for grad studies, non the less for international students that is absurdly low, unless you're taking a part time schedule. I hope for you it is, but I'd make sure that isn't the price for a semester
