While i’m happy for ct to get paid i’m a little sad to see him go. But i know that eventually we would/will have to move on from players like him and edler for long term success. Giving out too much term especially on aging players is a recipe for short term gain and long term pain. In an ideal world some of our prospects would have shown more at this point. All i hope now is that benning doesnt decide to throw big term and dollars to any ufas, barrie and ap in particular. Teams are desperate to drop money lets wait and try and pick up someone younger when teams start to get desperate

I would guess it has less to do with the $4.5 and more to do with the 4 years. Big name ufas are not the answer to our problems either
