  1. Imagine them oh you know not being reactive and instead proactive and having it today.
  2. "temporary" How long is "temporary" for? Weeks? Months? Years? We've thought that a few times then new variants show up that are more infections (and generally less deadly).
  3. Gym is one of the most critical things for both youth and adults. Its one of the largest stress relievers and mentally get people through tough times by being able to go and just zone out and do their thing. People that don't have the issues don't understand and say dumb crap like "do body workouts at home or go for a run outside". Its not the same, I am an athlete, its completely different mindset being at a gym and a mental one that that. Last spring they limited 50%, made us sign up to come in so numbers didn't get to many (I don't think we ever got past 10% at my gym) and masks had to be at all times. Theres no damn reason they can't do that again. I enjoy that casinos are still open, gotta get that laundered money through.
  4. Complete 180. I had to look up and make sure it was the same guy.
  5. Looks like mcdonald's didn't get the memo
  6. Ontario brought that up the other day. I can't remember which hospital it was but they wanted peopled admitted via covid and those who caught covid while there in 2 seperate catergories. I guess one of the big issues was you say "oh theres 5 more in ICU" but 2 could have been car crash victims who just happened to get covid while there. They weren't admitted and hooked up to a ventillator because covid wasn't letting them breathe, they were there for various other reasons.
  7. 800k? And buyers see it, its all foreign money, everyone knows it but government doesn't give 2 craps because every home sold and flipped they get a cut each time.
  8. Theres been 3 houses we have looked at. Gone there and our realtor said he got a call that day from the seller saying they got offers. 1 legit had them and sold a few days later, 2 are still on market a month+ later. We didn't bite on either of those in a panic to get in a bidding war thankfully. One house I wanted to check out last week, ended up going 300k over asking. There was ZERO reason for it, it was already above the average. There is NO way its not foreign because theres no way someone was paying that price for the suburbs.
  9. With all the bitching about covid spreading I am pretty sure Tim Hortons/McDonalds/corner store have no interest in me bringing in my own Yeti tumbler... But if I must to save the 25 cents they better not complain that I am using it around their coffee pots. Is the city going to mandate that you can't discriminate reusable cups now? https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/frank-small-white-garbage-bags-25-l-200-pk-1424608p.html#srp Yup just gonna end up getting these onece I run out of my stash....
  10. But but but vaccinated are spreading it!!!!!!!! That's the constant response I see on twitter, it's almost like they still don't get it.
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KI_l7U-nUmg I found Celtic punk on Spotify and its become a staple for me and my kids (1 and 4). The beat makes it fun for having dance parties and just move around silly. https://youtu.be/KI_l7U-nUmg
  12. Im also horrendous at celeb names. Unless you're like a top notch A+ list actor or someone like Prince Phillips that I see often I don't have a damn clue who you are. I never have cared to know peoples actual names, I know them by popular shows and still call them by those names from the movies or tv shows haha.
  13. I feel its bad when I only recognize about 1/4 of the names.
  14. https://nationalpost.com/news/world/covid-outbreak-at-remote-antarctic-station-among-fully-vaccinated-researchers-like-horror-movie-plot Lmao no matter how hard you lockdown this virus is gonna get you.
  15. Cheer for or love watching? I love watching high up tempo skilled teams so I will catch and watch those games whenever I can.
  16. A lot of those guys (Malkin, Drai, goalies etc.) are all superstars but not generational in my view. I can't really comment on anything pre-high scoring era as I caught the tail end of that so those I have to take some of you old timers words for it.
  17. The initial taste thew me off a bit, but by the time I finished my first glass I really enjoyed it. I also have a soft spot for peanut butter so this is a nice "treat" for me.
  18. Not a huge fan of flavoured whiskeys but this one pretty good.
  19. I don't care for disclose much but if it's coming out of a university then it's still facts.
  20. They could have simply said no more cardio equipment, only weights and masks all the time with reduced limits like last spring and it would have been better. Looks like university are finding the hospitalizations are much less too. High cases not low hospitalizations. Makes it much less reason to lock down.
  21. Freezing rain makes things fun.... But I have found using my seed spreader for salt really nice and quick way to get salt spread on my long driveway. They really should use something like this at school sidewalks, etc. Way safer that carrying a bag around and throwing salt in my opinion.
  22. Thats what it was last spring. It made the gym way less busy (already fairly quiet). I used to have to clock in for 1 or 1.5 hour workout blocks if I wanted to go and it showed you how busy they were. If people are scared they can stay home, order their groceries for curbside pickup or delivery and stay locked away. I like to get my gym workout in before work, gets me in a good mental state, if I don't go my day drags and I feel depressed. Its my mental break time from the rest of the world where its just me lifting before going into the stresses of life at work or family.
