    The extra pick in the second round may be compensation for a death or something, similar to what the Rangers got for Cherepanov. Not exactly sure...

      New Jersey was forced to forfeit their 3rd round pick because the 1st contract Kovalchuk signed with the Devils last summer was deemed to be cap circumvention.

      I'm guessing that's why the 2nd round had 31 selections and the 3rd had 29.

    Ballard is never going to be able to excel under AV. Unlike Rome, who seems to be allowed to do whatever he wants, every little mistake Ballard makes is scrutinized. Also, he's never going to be able to play his game because he doesn't have the "green light" like Ehrhoff does.

    Shocked how many people on this board have said the Rome hit wasn't dirty. It was extremely late, Horton wasn't a part of the play anymore. You can't just go charging at players' head with your shoulder.

    That great defensive play Raymond made in the last minute... he used his size and strength to take away Kelly's lane. Now why can't he just drive the net the same way instead of going behind the net or falling. You can do it MayRay :P
