  1. Probably a B from me for this draft mind you the first two picks look to be home runs. I like the Keppen pick, maybe a bit under the radar playing in Flint. The Focht pick was a head scratcher for me, he was so far off the radar that it seems off to use a fifth on him The goalie pick was solid...he seems like a great kid. The rest of the pack all have some level of potential but I do not know about most of them.
  2. This is a good player. Great pick Canucks, wish they would keep making great picks and quit making trades.
  3. Love this pick...just love it
  4. The only player that I would want the Canucks to move up for is Byram (excluding Hughes and Kakko obviously). Otherwise, it seems to be such a mixed bag that they will get a great player at 10 no matter what.
  5. Are the Raiders on the move again? If they go to Vegas then they should change their name to the Posse....reminiscent of the CFL's failed attempt there.
  6. It's not clear, that's why I asked....thanks for the really nice response.
  7. Friedman's tweet is confusing, nice use of multiple negatives Elliot.. He said...."Hearing VAN and Edler closing in on three-year deal that will not have a clause preventing him from being exposed in the expansion draft" So does that mean that Edler can be exposed or not?
  8. Come on Lu...milk that hip injury for all it's worth.......
  9. The third jerseys are called Heritage jerseys so I assume that means that they are intended to resemble classic uniforms form the past. Such as these,
  10. I'd rather watch the final minutes of the 1994 final, at least it was close and the Canucks really dig in.
  11. "You can never have too many goalies" quote credited to GMJB after drafting Dipietro
  12. There were several reports of different offers for him but he refused to waive.
  13. I am a bit po'ed that Edler wouldn't waive his NTC to go play somewhere else for a couple months or less and get a good return back to help this team in the long run and then he expects the team to meet every demand for him to stay in Vancouver. The reality is that if he were exposed in an expansion draft, Seattle wouldn't be picking an old defenseman, they would be looking for more of an up and comer. Seems like he is hurting the team more than help it, I say set him loose and we can move on and look for some free agents to sign instead.
  14. Bieksa actually had it twice...I thought that he recovered just fine each time but it took a while. He eventually slowed down due to logging a lot of hard miles on his body.
  15. Krebs is expected to make a full recovery. This was a fluke injury caused by another players skate so it does not indicate any problems. It would be foolish to pass on a talent like Krens just because he likely will not not be ready for training camp.
  16. I would be happy with either, Newhook seems to have a significantly high skill level. Considering that Krebs will be showing up in Vancouver with a walking boot after Achilles surgery makes me think this guy has a real set on him......... ======> I want this guy. https://theprovince.com/sports/hockey/junior-hockey/report-krebs-has-torn-achilles-and-that-could-change-top-10-selections-in-nhl-draft
  17. I love it. This is great fun...........Dare to dream
  18. Hard to see a team trading a first round draft pick to see the only tangible asset in return is Ban Hutton. I understand the cap dump but I think this would be hard to accomplish
  19. I like the green stick in th rink on the bottom left. That is a fresh take on an old school jersey.... I do not like the Johnny Canuck ones though. They just look too amateurish
  20. I think the Ducks will have to eat this one for a bit yet, either that or put Perry on the Chris Pronger deal.
  21. No to Gardiner, yes to Myers. If Edler is gone then maybe I would rethink this.
  22. I agree, he certainly seems to stand out as such
