Dipietro probably needs 3 seasons in the AHL and at least one being the number one and not splitting duties like he is at the moment. Hard to imagine the Canucks trading Demko especially with how patient and efficiently they have brought him along.

F no. Demko is going to be better than Markstrom. But the idea of Markstrom to the Devils is tempting. Especially how Dipietro has looked in Utica thus far.

I need binoculars to see the puck. Anyways, Canucks look great. The fact they can shake off a tough loss the night before and come out flying further justifies this is a legitimate hockey team. I now watch games expecting them to win which is such a sigh of relief.

In all due fairness the first 3 years under Benning were troubling as the team didn’t have a real direction and it left fans confused and disoriented. I mean, the retool while remaining competitive with an aging roster tidbit really set the tone for his tenure here and it’s taken a long time for fans to finally give him an honest chance. It definitely helps that Boeser, Petey, and now Hughes have been better than advertised. You can’t tell me that even as soon as the end of last season Benning hasn’t deserved some criticism.

Lombardo’s is top shelf. Out where I live, Emilio Finatti is where it’s at.

The Canucks are in no position to be overlooking any team in the league after the past 4 years. One game at a time.

He reminds me of Datsyuk in so many ways. Thinks the game at another level, silky mitts, good with his stick/hand eye, and hustles harder than anybody on the ice without he puck on his stick. Yeah, needless to say Pavel was one of my favourites of all time.

Helps when you don’t have pairings like Gudbranson/Hutton and Biega/Del Zotto.

Well the Florida player briefly had possession of the puck after Hughes had it and blindly threw it back to an awaiting Pettersson so as far as I know that doesn’t count as an assist.

It’s John Carlson’s to lose. Edler going consecutive games without a mental gaff is in itself a treat.
