  1. Hoglander is only 21 years old great speed and skilled. Every team wants more speed I would not be moving a young prospect? Unless it equal value RD man same age group that has good upside and should be # 5 D man now with future of being #3 or #4 Dman
  2. According to Larry Brooks of the New York Post, it appears free agent forward Nazem Kadri’s asking price has not come down and the requested AAV still begins with at least a “9” (link). If that is indeed the case, it may provide a hint as to why Kadri remains unsigned, with many teams having spent up to or relatively close to the salary cap. Several teams have the room to sign Kadri, but if he is also looking to go to a team that has a real chance at a Stanley Cup, his options may be slim. Soon-to-be 32, if Kadri is able to regularly repeat his breakout 87 point performance from this season, a $9MM AAV contract would be worth it for the two-way star, but otherwise it could wind up a salary cap issue, even if he’s still a solid performer. Will be interesting what Kadri signs for at 32 yrs old? Can't see team offering over 7.8 X 5 yrs making Kadri 37 at end of contract..
  3. You are kidding? Gudas 6'0 , 200-- Miller 6'2, 215 can handle himself.. Gudas is not a top fighter very average... Miller will take out Gudas any time...
  4. Motte had his chance and wanted the 1.7--2 million Dollars.. Works out better now on 4th line - Joshua 6'3 -- Lazar --Hoglander -- Lockwood-- Fans are going to like Joshua and Lazar,
  5. I sure hope Vancouver Doesn't sign Miller to 9 million X 6 or 7 yrs at 30 yrs old next summer..No No.. I honestly think Vancouver offer Miller 0ver 7.8 to 8 million X 6 yrs...
  6. I think any team paying 30 year old player 10.5 million X 8 years is looking for trouble last 3-4 yrs of the contract.. Sure hope Vancouver don't sign Miller to 8 yrs X 8.5 million..Please no no.... I think Miller is realistically a point a game guy...This season GP 75 - G 27 - PTS 74- 78 predict
  7. Huberdeau 29 yrs Last 4 seasons: J.T Miller 29 yrs 2021-22 - GP 80 - PTS 115 GP 80 - PTS - 99 2020-21 -GP 55 - PTS. 61 GP 53 - PTS - 46 2019-20 -GP 69 - PTS 78 GP 69 - PTS -- 72 2018-19 -GP 82 - PTS 92 GP 74 - PTS - 47
  8. I don't think Vegas will be top team..Stone has back issue maybe 60-65 games-- Pacioretty gone his production big body, Golies Lehner health? 1. Calgary 2. Edmonton (3. Vancouver - LA Kings )----Wild card Vegas with a group
  9. At 30 yrs old next summer hope Canucks never offer over 7.5 million X 6 years 45 million...
  10. Oh yes Dakota Joshua 6'2, 205 he will be crashing D men on the forecheck with decent speed..Dakota will drop the gloves and he can handle himself.. Need toughness and grit like Dakota on the 4th line..
  11. Yes look what he diid when Jamis Benn hit Hughes? Team toughness, leadership Schenn is great..
  12. The skilled forward is only 21 with great speed and talent.. Rookie season 19--20 year old GP 56 - Points 27 Last season playing injured, did he not have abdominal surgery ? Kid has talent, speed, grit... Should produce GP 75 - G 17--21 - PTS 32-35 playing 3rd line - 12--14 mins
  13. I hope Woo has a bounce back season with no injuries... Woo just turned 22, still very young and has not played many games over last 2 yrs..The 2020-21 season 28 games as 20 year old, covid shortened -- 2021-22--only 42 games as 21 year old.. I sure hope Woo stays healthy plays in top 4, lots of ice time 19--22 mins.. Big year for his development ..
  14. If your talking players that are slow it would be Pearson?
  15. If Motte was so good would he not of been signed before August 1st?? We are fine without Motte sure he adds speed... Pk will is better already with Mikheyev and Lazar speed ...
  16. I listen to sports net 650, they do have experts that know more then you and I???? So who is saying Joshua is slow? Big body fast on forecheck. makes big hits? All the shows on 650 were happy with Joshua? Motte is going to make the difference?? I don't think so...
  17. Well if you listen to people that follow Canucks Joshua is a big fast forward on forecheck along with Lazar..Did Lazar not have most hits on Boston and he gets on forecheck? The forth line is better already then last year.. ? Dickinson is not that fastest but he isn't slow.. Adding another RD that adds toughness is not a bad thing.. Either way rather keep the 1.4 million then add more forwards just because we have cap space ? The 1.4 million Dollar player is not a game changers.. Keep the 1.4 million....
  18. I bet Canucks were offering Motte at least 1.3 -- 1.5 Million last March?? He choose to try UFA and he is still not signed? Motte had his chance and Management brought in size and more aggressive 4th liners with speed... Lets move on from Motte who had his chance here....
  19. We don't need to sign Motte 5'10, 27yrs old.. Keep the 1.4 million and spend on a D man.. We have speed with, Hoglander 21, Joshua 26, 6'3 C/W, Lazar 27, C/W, Dickinson 26, C/W, Lockwood 24, W there a 5 forwards we don't need to add Motte...
  20. Chicago would never make this deal..They can make better deals and get young prospect and draft pick helping teams that are against cap..Canucks will not take on more bad cap..Myers will have takers 2 yrs X 6 million RD plays 21--24 mins #3 D man.. Vancouver cannot trade him without having someone to replace those valuable minutes..
  21. At trade deadline you are only getting him for last 15 games regular season and playoffs? Then he becomes a UFA at 31?? Look what it cost Rangers for Copp? Becomes a UFA they give up 1st rounder and prospects .. Teams will be getting smarter about rentals for playoff runs on UFA players.. Colorado and Tampa are elite teams to make playoff run trades.... I think Miller trade values is slowly going down...Canucks can't have that distraction all season? Either get contract done of trade before season starts in October...
  22. Poolman 29, 6'2 - 200lbs - very good skater..Poolman biggest problem is he tries to be offensive..Poolman needs to play a simple stay at home D man make the first pass use his skating to his benefit.. I do think Poolman can be a #4 and if Bruce gets to use his magic on him give him confidence.. Keep it simple use his size and good skating play defensive he out be good for Vancouver.. Hope he is healthy again..
  23. So just looked up last 4 seasons for Connor Murphy 29, 6'4, 218 lbs, RD-- 4 yrs X 4.4 million last 4 seasons GP -- 52---58--50--57 The guy is hurt all the time.......BIG BIG NO
