  1. If I somehow become a billionaire I’d be damn sure my offspring have a hardworking and appreciative mentality. Even if I have to combat the two grandmas rightfully wanting to spoil. I’d want to see the plastic islands in the oceans gone before my, if not my kids(who’d I’d set to carry forward), lifetime. But I am not a billionaire…. yet…. never say never….
  2. It’s just a guess so take it with a grain of salt. Either way it’s probably the last thing I would put out publicly given the circumstances. Personally I don’t really hate people IDK. I don’t have enemies. But I’ll judge his actions and his present self given the situation.
  3. Yeah stupid. Perhaps the benefits of having a billionaire stepfather made him spoiled but in turn spoiled his sense of morality. Compare that to the 19 year old son of a multimillionaire who died, not wanting to go but did so for his father for Father’s Day. Unfortunate circumstances.
  4. So the son was trying to be a good son. Compare that to the billionaires stepson who goes to blink 182 as a 37 year old while his stepfather is considered mission(at the time but likely dead). What an ugly situation conclusion.
  5. Unless they add and there’s an extension in place than I’d probably pass.
  6. I believe the person you were talking to was referring to the stepson of the billionaire. Stockton Rush is the CEO and founder of the company who own the sub who is on the sub.
  7. That was the billionaire or the company? I thought the company CEO or whatever cut corners and fired a 1 or 2 people who had concerns.
  8. Yeah I don’t get it. Of all things to take a 19 year old to while being millionaires that wouldn’t be one of them for me. Go visit and appreciate nature while it’s there. So much more you can experience. There is so much in the world.
  9. I wouldn’t consider him much of a son anymore. Feel for the mom who has to deal with his gutless act on top of losing her husband.
  10. I feel especially for the 19 year old who had his life cut short.
  11. You also need great depth at D and C if you want to compete over the long stretch of the season. For those reasons we should be looking for solid veterans to fill those voids and bring needed play styles(Defensive/PK/physicality) If we can move a winger out we can address these issues further. It would really go a long way to rounding out the roster. Injuries happen and that’s when we Need these youngsters to step up.
  12. Our goal is to ice the best team possible as soon as possible and compete. Unless they find a deal to trade Miller that's gonna make the team better next year and on they aren't trading him. We past the point of going for a rebuild(on the fly) last trade deadline. That's no longer an option.
  13. In the playoffs he averages less time 14:35 career average. I see some peeps willing to offer 4M+... I'd be wary. He has shown to be a great 3rd pair LD but hasn't really shown top 4. I'd rather spend top 4 D money on someone who's shown top 4 D production. If we can nab him at 3rd pair D money I am all for it.
  14. His career average is 16:17 minutes a game. He is a good but is he top 4 money good?
  15. IMO we should look at a solid veteran 4th C too. Imagine a cheaper Beagle/Sutter type at 4th C winning draws and playing like a top PKer(like they did albeit at unreasonable cap hits). The two places where you can never have enough depth(unless you got a ton of cap spent) is at C and D. Injuries happen at that’s when the young Cs and Ds get the opportunities. Term for both should be 2-3 years ideally. At that point we can reevaluate our young Cs and Ds to see if they’re ready to take the reins.
  16. IMO we should acquire two veteran Cs. A 3rd C and 4th C. Any young C we draft/have will take time and can get called up in case of injury. Centre depth is important. A bottom 6 winger wouldn’t be bad too but is less of a priority compared to the Cs as we’ve got plenty of wingers in the system and on the team. In a perfect world two top 4 D and a veteran top 6 D would be nice but ideally one top 4 D and one top 6 D would suffice till next season. Like Cs, D depth is important. Injuries happen and you can never have enough C and D depth.
  17. Overall the focus should be to continue to to retool the D and to bolster the bottom 6. Adding size, speed, physicality, defensive/PK ability should be the targets in player types. We round out our roster acquiring these types of players to fill these spots. Trading out a winger or two in order to clear cap or better yet help address these issues in a hockey trade would be the best route IMO.
  18. A winger traded for a 3rd C or just a winger traded for cap.
  19. Our next best move would probably be to try and trade a wing for a 3rd C in a cap for cap move so that we could spend more cap on D. Maybe we end up even saving cap in the trade
  20. For sure. Ideally we’d trade one of our wingers Garland/Boeser/Beauv for a 3rd C in a hockey trade for a team in need of wingers. Save our cap for a D. Islanders are another team with Pageau who’s a solid defensive 3rd C that wins draws, plays with an edge or supplies secondary scoring. He’s a bit more pricey with cap, a bit smaller and is a bit older but fits the mold for the most part. We should start identifying teams that can move a C for a wing. Unless we’re fine spending picks/prospects for a guy like Laughton from the rebuilding Flyers. A cap for cap move wing for C would allow us to spend more on D.
  21. No they would have achieved an initial goal that they’ve rushed the process to try to achieve.
