rluongo01
Gillis was on the Team 1040 yesterday and he mentioned that Jordan Schroeder will play some games with the Canucks this season. This is great news! I'm sure a lot of us are curious to see where he is at in his development.
DeNiro
Probably dropped an inch after LaLonde ragdolled him. Nope, actually he went on to score goals in his next two games. So thanks, Lalonde was it? Not really sure who that is.
avelanch
Nope, actually he went on to score goals in his next two games. So thanks, Lalonde was it? Not really sure who that is. just some noname hogs defenseman who's body is too big for his mind (and at 6'1", 204 lbs, you can see how small that mind is)... seems like they enjoy drafting those types of players in that franchise... He has more PIM than GP, and seems to have regressed since last season, where he had 32 points. with 8 points in 39 games and only 28 games left for the hogs (and only a single point in 2012 so far) it looks like he'll be lucky to break double digits this season. if you take out December, he only gets a single point per month... so maybe he'll hit 10-11 points. But I guess he can always cling to the fact that he pulled a dirty move on schroeder, i guess that'll make him feel better when he's stuck in the AHL for life and schroeder's up in the big leagues. Actually LaLonde is a good prospect... but then again that would probably escape you despite your "contacts". Schroder won't have much of an impact in the NHL... Mark that down and feel free to bring it up if I am wrong.

Hah, if only. as for the list, just off the top of my head, Beach, Aliu, Bickell, Brouwer, Kruger, Tanguay, Blunden, Barker, and the big as a house, and almost as smart/fast as one too, Byfuglien. unbridled_id
Kid? Hah, if only. as for the list, just off the top of my head, Beach, Aliu, Bickell, Brouwer, Kruger, Tanguay, Blunden, Barker, and the big as a house, and almost as smart/fast as one too, Byfuglien. So you are not a kid...wow. Beach you are wrong about, and we had a discussion about that. Your opinion simply isn't shared by those in the know. The problem with Bickell isn't how physical he is, it is that he isn't physical enough. So what type of player is he exactly in your mind ? Kruger...what is the issue with him ? Do you know what/who you are talking about. Brouwer is a good player all around... Solid power forward, so I don't understand what the issue is with him except that the Hawks could use him right about now. Aliu was a bad pick by Tallon. He was packaged by the new G.M in trade which netted three good prospect (Morin, K Hayes, and Holl).. Nothing wrong with turning a mistake into a positive. Tanguay is a center who playes in Toledo... Actually he isn't even on Toledo anymore so I don't know where he is. What is your issue with him exactly ? Barker was a player who didn't live up to his potential and was traded for Leddy. After the two Russians Barker looked like a good pick, but Leddy looks to have a bright future. Bluden was a bust... Hey it happens with 2nd rounders, and the Nucks should know all about that. Buff is a very good player who caused sensitive people like you grief. He is a very productive player on the blueline for the Jets... I miss him and he would look great next to Kane and Toews. Kruger... I love that one... You really are quick and yet slow at the same time.

Canvoucer Vanuck
We'll see whether Lalonde turns into an NHL'er or not. But I will say this: that was a classless move by him in that other game and I'm not going to mince my words: it was awesome to see the Wolves beat them down 6-2, and I hope there's more of that in future! Go Wolves!!
