hockey21383
Just wondering which coaches are available, and which would be best suited to coach this team. In no way am I bashing AV, and he sure as hell isnt the reason why we lost, but change is needed after one hell of a 6 year coaching tenure. Guest BuckFoston
I am available & very well suited to not make the same dumb decisions AV has made. MG - call me...
the_slowburner
Marc Crawford. He always had this team close to taking that next step, just didn't have the goaltending. I don't think that's a problem anymore. I say bring him back. I know most people are thinking Mac T. But something about him just doesn't feel right. But we'll see
rkyway
I think Randy Cunneyworth is a good candidate, and perhaps (perhaps) Dallas Eakins.

Boudrias
Get that guy who just won the Swiss league back over here. Won the CUP with the AVs.
SuperReverb2
I'll be OK with any list that doesn't include Craig (Mac T) MacTavish. Just can't see a guy that HATED the Canucks for as long as he did standing behind our bench.

snucks
Gillis needs to be fired. AV and his flunkies need to be fired. Scouts need to be fired. This has to be done now! Any new group needs time before the draft to evaluate the situation and plan for the future. Of course canucks don't have a great position in the draft, but any new group needs to happen now ! Odjickwillkillyou
My old player/coach Carlos from my men's beer league in Fresno, CA. He always had a cooler of beer ready before the game, played a great DJ in the locker room and passed me the puck.
rkyway
Balysma won't be fired. Fleury was horrid, and Crosby wasn't back to form after all his concussion issues.
timberz21
Bob Hartley Stanley Cup winners. Coached in the Swiss league this year. His team finished 7th overall and elminated the 1st, 2nd and 5th seeds to win the league. This guy has charisma, he's tough on player but will always back them up all the way. People said that Kovalchuk drove him out of Atlanta. That is not true, he still speaks frequently to Kovalchuk over the phone. He's done a great job developping young talent in Atlanta, even though he made the playoff once. When he left Atlanta dipped lower in the standing. Quoted
I am not convinced this was a coaching issue - they simply are not getting enough secondary scoring and need to re-look and their 2nd and 3rd line personnel which is a GM role. If a wrong make-up is the issue, fire the GM, not the coach.
