Watermelons
Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger Its going to be fascinating to see financial terms of Weber's offer sheet. Hearing in one calendar year, he could make $26 mil. Nashville won't sign him for one year and pay him $26 mill only to trade him

Sedinry
Wow and people bitched about Luongo's contract. Guys, Weber is great for sure, but he takes out an internal salary structure completely, a team can go disarray with this kind of mess. One or 2 bad years and people will be on his head and everyone will be pissed.
rkoshack
Not a chance he makes that in year 1, any one player can not make more than 20% of the salary cap of upcoming season.

vancanfan
The last CBA had a clause that stated no one player can make more than 20% of the salary cap in the upcoming season, so how Dreger is coming up with that number is a mystery. If Philly somehow can circumvent that and pay Weber that much in season 1, then something is terribly wrong with the system in place. edit: forgot about bonuses, its late, thanks guys for reminding me

Millerdraft
I don't think so....... think Van will stay competitive.......they've got enough youth and vets just hitting their prime to stay in the mix for the next while.........maybe not hard core contenders, but good enought to make a run if the stars align
