Seem pretty legit. But I see your point.

Browns are the same team that had Josh Gordon and now Antonio Callaway. Their GM drafted Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt so he is known to take chances on some questionable character guys.

Don't forget about Joe Mixon on the Bengals he knocked out a girl at Oklahoma in college and was worse than what Kareem Hunt did imo.

Vontaze Burfict went undrafted due to his character issues also.

Bengals have plenty of stuff already.

What Mixon did was absolutely not worse than Hunt’s situation. Mixon defended himself against a racially provoked attack from a woman who was known to police, and has been 100% squeaky clean since coming to Cincinnati. Hunt beat a woman for no reason and lied to his management about what happened.

And if you’ve followed this thread for awhile you’d know I hated that pick at the 2017 draft.

Yeah what Aaron Hernandez did was much better...

Dang, ESPN needs to update their website. It only shows that he ever played for the Patriots and was immediately cut and thrown in jail when his name was brought up on murder investigations. You should write them an e-mail that Hernandez was signed by another team after what he did so they can update their website.

They had to do something when $&!# hit the fan.

You are telling me the Patriots, who do more research probably than any team in football when acquiring players, had no inkling of who he was hanging out with, or the type of character he was  before that all came down.

Ok.

Ok.

Do you know who half these NFL players coming out of college hang out with? A lot of 1st round picks hang out with known gang affiliated people. Did it stop the Ravens from drafting Lamar Jackson who very publicly hangs out with Kodak Black and all his hood associates?

If rich old white men didn't draft black and hispanic players based on who they hang out with and what they do in their spare time, they would be forced to buy NHL teams because there would be no NFL or NBA.

Every NFL team has a security detail, along with scouts and people whose sole job is to dig up dirt on black guys/latinos from the hood.

Also any other ethnicities from rough areas and/ or specifically that they have flagged as a potential issue when they are handed money and fame.

They have more info available to them than the public does.

It's why when a guy who is obviously talented slides on draft day an poepoe are wondering are teams stupid, it's because they found something the public didn't know about.

He was a heavy Marijuana user in college and failed drug tests, so he was already red flagged at the combine.

He was an All-SEC TE ,yet fell to the 4th round because of his off field issues combined with getting an injury working out.

The job of an organization is to find out what type of person a player is off the field as much as how they are a playing fit wise on it.

He had a long rap sheet though. Going back to college, he displayed erratic behaviour that they chose to ignore because he was producing and helping them win with Gronkowski.

Witnesses said they saw somebody like him at multiple shootings and incidents. He was paranoid and buying weapons and apparently asked for a trade.

Turns out he was a closeted gay or CTE is used to describe his behaviour.

His teammates never liked him either and Belichick has never spoken about his character ,or his past or what they knew or how much about him off the field on the record EVER.

Pretty convenient how they just swept him under the rug when he got arrested.

Their 2 TE package where he would line up as an H back was the most productive TE duo in the NFL by far.

Once he got arrested they acted like he was never on the team and were totally blindsided with what happened with him.

I'm not buying that Belichick, Kraft, or their NFL security team didn't know about his shady off field "lifestyle".

Another organization, maybe.

The Patriots who do their homework on everything? No freaking way.

Please show me what Hernandez had been convicted of prior to the NFL draft, or prior to the murder investigation during his NFL career?

The guy had talent, and was also a terrible human being off the field. But he wasn't a convicted criminal. Scum of the earth, closed off, shady human? Yes. Convicted criminal? No. He was a steal in the 4th round. Ray Lewis was never a convicted criminal despite everyone knowing he murdered that dude. Or Ben raping that girl. Neither were convicted.

The Patriots have always brought in guys who had character issues to see if they could be straightened out and turn their life around. Corey Dillon paid off, Randy Moss paid off. Haynesworth didn't pay off. Gordon might pay off even though he was great in the games he played.

And what did you expect, the Patriots to continue to talk about him after cutting him? Why would a team want to bring up a convicted murderers name alongside theirs? Do the Ravens ever talk about Ray Rice? Have the Chiefs continued to push Kareem Hunt's name? No. You distance yourself from the cancer.

In the end AH got what he deserved and KH hasn't yet.  Buying sex from a female then subsequently beating her like a rag doll, that's straight up heinous man.  BTW I was more ashamed of AH as a gator fan than a Pats fan, I accept the fact that there is thuggery in the NFL.  Fact is the league we all love to follow is filled with degenerates.

He didn't beat her like a ragdoll. He barely touched her and she hit him first. She is lucky he didn't &^@# her up.
