canuck2xtreme
Kessel not missing any regular season games? I expected that but still, absolute crap. So, 8 games for missing a hit and spinning around carelessly with your stick and accidentally catching a guy in the face. And 3 games for intentionally taking a pair of two handed lumberjack swings at an opponent and then spearing him after the fact while he's held by officials. Seems legit.... Primal Optimist
Colton Sceviour Notches Hat Trick as Stars Down Avalanche, 5-3 It was a bit of a roller coaster ride for the Dallas Starts in Denver Tuesday night, but when the final horn sounded they had themselves a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Avalanche. Colton Sceviour scored three goals and added an assist and Jamie Benn scored two goals for the Stars, who improved to 3-0-2 in preseason play. Bombastik der Teutone
Eric Gelinas assigned to the Minors ...for now So the Blues Defence seems fixed for the Opening Night Eric Gryba injured...so only Borowiecki could make the Roster and fil lthe 8th Defence Spot. The Next Days will show us if we start with 14 Forwards & 7 Defenders or 13 Forwards & 8 Defenders. ...and who will finally Start on the Bottom Lines/ Extra Spots??? Primal Optimist
^ hehe, I get Nashville's 3rd round pick if Ryan Whitney doesn't play 65 NHL games..but i did trade John Moore for him in the same deal, so its not like I am winning. Interestingly it will be around remembrance day when all possible teams he could play for will have less than 65 games remaining. Good good. RL.
Reports out of Detroit indicate that the Red Wings have made top prospect Elias Lindholm available for a package involving a young, NHL ready defenseman. General Manager RobertoLuongo. was not available to comment on the matter, but sources within the organization have hinted that the asking price is substantial. Primal Optimist
Thomas Vanek, Joe Thornton and Jarome Iginla were spotted today outside training camp. It would seem the line combos are not going to change much on the top two as across town the now famous line of Ryan Malone, Matt Stajan and Jiri Hudler were also noted as being together outside of Madison Square Garden at a meet and greet. GM Primal Optimist has already admitted to having two psychologists on the payroll, and this seems to be a related experiment. So if sleep specialists and group dynamics therapists are any indication, the Rangers are poised for a good start to the year. EDIT: a late report has Jesse Joensuu, Shawn Mattias and Mikael Backlund in the subway leaving MSG together for parts unknown. Clearly the Rangers are forecasting three solid lines, and unchanged over the last few days.
Bombastik der Teutone
One more Cut .....Josh Jooris assigned to the Minors..was in hope that he will make the Team but i guess we´ll see him in the NHL during the Season like some other Guys (Gelinas, Selleck...) Labrie, Vitale, Crabb , O`Brien , Raffl, Bournival and Powe are the Guys who are still fighting for the Bottom Line Spots and if Bergeheim is not ready for the Opening Night... 5 of them could be on the Starting Roster but i´m worried about the Rumours around O`Brien IRL hope someone claims him if he really gets waived in the next days
