tealfepels
Saying they have an all star goalie is debatable. Ward really hasn't done anything special since 05/06. They also have an average bottom 6. So basically they have no defense, an average goalie, and an average bottom 6. But other than that yea they're a "great team"... I don't need to google them to know they're in a weak division. All you have to do is look at where teams like Florida and Tampa have been finishing the last 5 years. The southeast had 3 of the top 5 draft picks this year. If that doesn't tell you they have a weak division, I dunno. The Hawks, Ducks, Bruins, Kings, Pens, and Sharks all have better top 6's. What were you saying again? DeNiro
Boston's top 6 Pittsburghs top 6 Chicagos top 6 Vancouvers top 6 San Jose's top 6 Phillys top 6 St Louis top 6 L.A. Top 6 Even edmontons top 6 with Perron there And that took me all of 2 minutes to think of
tealfepels
Yea, pretty much. I could have added more, but I think I proved my point. Guessing this guy is a Canes fan if he thinks they're a Jagr away from being a top 3 offense in the league. They were 17th in goals for this year, and 18th last year. Somehow I don't think Jagr's 20 goals is gonna catapult them into the top 3.

Remy
ward is an all star goalie whos had no defensive support. their bottom 6 will be very good this year and was good last year. after signing this player they will be top 3 best offense in the league you're dreaming if you think the sharks, kings and ducks have a better top 6. thats laughable thanks for the laugh
Pears
hahaha you're funny man. if you think most of those teams have a better offense you're in dream land. and vancouver has a better top 6 than the canes? AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. sorry that was very funny. eric staal is on the same level as joe thornton/ilya kovalchuk. jordan is the same level as kesler/oreilly. tlusty had a 60-70 point pro rated year. not to mention they have jeff skinner and alex semin. if jagr signs, their offense looks like this skinner staal semin jagr staal tlusty that's top 5 offense in the league you're delusional if you don't think so

WonderTwinPowers
So you admit they're not top 3 then? And to say they're better then San Jose,L.A. Or St Louis is laughable, that St. Louis lineup didn't have Bergland in it either lol I'm not even gunna argue about Van cause ill just come across as biased But you my friend are in the words of Ozzy "Flying high again"

WonderTwinPowers
ya if you don't think that's top 5 in the league you're an idiot. just look at that filthy top 6.
Noseforthenet
People keep saying Jagr, Brunner, Morrow, etc, but their back end is where they need work. Morrow is a good thought and so are Brunner and Jagr. But this guy approached them and they "had to act on it." Ryan Whitney? Roman Hamrlik? Nah. The biggest name out there that could stabilize their back end is Tim Thomas. There's nobody else it could be. They have some forward spots left open and Jagr, Morrow, or Brunner would for pretty well, but the puck needs to be kept out of their net and Cam Ward hasn't exactly been inspiring his D to better play. My bet is Tim Thomas. Someone who will push Ward to be a better number 1 or he will lose it.

LindenBurrows
It has been widely speculated that future Hall-of-Famer Jaromir Jagr might be heading to Carolina, but many have contradicted those reports, including Hurricanes beat writer Chip Alexander. tealfepels
Still not buying that's its top 5 there bro but keep pushing it if you want Dupuis-Crosby-Kunitz Neal-Malkin-Jokinen Better Saad-Toews-Kane Bickel-Sharp-Hossa Better Marleau-Thornton-Burns Pavelski-Couture-Havlat Better Hartnell-Giroux-Simmons Schenn-Lecaviers-Voracek Better Lucic-Krejci-Iginla Marchand-Bergeron-Eriksson Better Oshie-Backes-Stewart Tarasenko-Roy-Berglund Better Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Higgins-Kesler-Booth Better Williams-Kopitar-Brown Carter-Richards-Toffoli Better Franzen-Datsyuk-Zetterberg Alfredsson-Wiese-Bertuzzi Better Drouin-Stamkos-St Louis Malone-Filpulla-Purcell Better Plus if you are crazy enough to think that's top 5, then what's it all gunna matter when no one can pass them up the puck?
