Assuming Tanev at around 1.2-1.3 plus one of our younger players, we have at least 2mill to sign one more player. Boyes or Kobasew would be possible for something around 1-1.2. We have to sign Tanev, should get him for 2M, and really need to sign Alberts to keep some defensive depth - he can be had for 1M. That leaves 2M in space to sign free agents. I would suggest going for defensive depth, for example Fistric or Murray who could both be had for 2M. I would also love a big body on our team like Antropov or Ponikarovsky (playoff-proven scorer and winner), both could be had for 2M as well. However, defence is thin right now so go for a defenceman. Also, Boyes would not sign for that low considering he got 35 points in 48 games. Pro-rated that's about 60 points. He's gonna be asking for more like $2-3.5M per year.
