Everybody Hates Raymond
He just said this on the live stream of the post-game locker room, and I found this fairly interesting. Obviously the final decision is up to coaching and management, but I've already been impressed by his play - and his confidence certainly instills some in me. I am glad, however, that he understands that it isn't up to him and seemed very modest about the idea of being sent back down. Certainly doesn't seem like it's going to be another Hodgson situation. In my opinion, Shinkaruk could be what we've been missing these past few years - a versatile, young, two way player that has the potential (and has managed to show it) to be an offensive juggernaut. His absolutely dynamic relationship on ice with Horvat is awesome, too.

CanucksSayEh
I agree. So much has been said about Bo and his two way play, but it's been Shink that has looked as such.
The Brahma Bull
He has such a sick shot. Even if he doesn't make it this season, I'm glad that he is playing well.

UFCanuck
Of course he's going to say that though. There is a substantial pay raise from junior.
King Heffy
He's certainly earned a shot while Kassian is suspended.
i love semin
To be fair, he's been saying that since the draft. And if specifically asked, I'm sure Horvat and Gaunce would say something similar.

UFCanuck
Lol, yes, Shinkaruk's only motivation to feel ready for the NHL is the money. Yep.
Strawberries
Needs to bulk up imo, kids going to be deadly though real soon
King Heffy
Good to see he wants it and understands he still has to earn his spot. He reminds me a bit of Gallagher, although not as physical but with more skill. Both are undersized players who forecheck well and play much bigger than their size. I really like what I've seen from him so far.
Tiger Gino Brash Ryp
I think he looks ready. At the very least he has earned the 9 games.
Herberts Vasiljevs
I see Horvat and Shinni cracking the opening lineup. They'll get a look at least.

HC20.0
Horvat's been good, but Shinkaruk has really impressed me. Holy crap what a steal.

Butters Stoch
I don't doubt that he has the skill to keep up but I'd rather let him bulk up a bit first to play full time. We don't want him getting a bunch of injuries in his first year.
Chronic.Canuck
He'll get his 9 games. How he performs in regular season action will determine whether he gets sent down or not.
