I've liked our powerplay alot more so far this season than the last couple seasons. They're generating a ton of chances, they just need to start burying some. The powerplay was dreadful last year, mostly due to not shooting the puck combined with not putting Garrison on the 1st unit and the insistence on using the drop pass. people please Posted October 16, 2013 Share Posted October 16, 2013 Brown was handed a powerplay unit that had the Sedins, Kesler, and Ehrhoff in their prime. The year they had the best powerplay unit in the league, Ehrhoff was arguably the best PP QB at the time. He got alot of credit for things he didn't deserve. It was the same reason he was so highly touted before he came here. He had a powerplay unit with Niedermeyer, Selanne, and Pronger, along with Perry and Getzlaf.
