Any team that gets forced to play grinding hockey every single night will end up getting frustrated and tired of working your ass off just to hope for a lucky bounce, which is what role players do.

If we had a second line capable of scoring goals at the NHL level it would take so much pressure off of the 3rd line and allow them to concentrate on defence first hockey and chip in when they can.

Unfortunately we keep questioning both of our 3rd lines and wonder why they're not scoring. Talk about pressure:

"Why aren't you delivering what you're not here to deliver"?

Jamaito....Not a bad goal...he cheated on position and lost....an ugly goal and a rookie mistake by a veteran goalie.

Rookie mistake? What rookie goalie do you see trying to think ahead of the play. It's a veteran thing to do. A good goalie needs to anticipate the play. He just didn't adjust to it because it was a snipe. It didn't matter where he was positionally it was an amazing shot. His problem was he went down too early. He couldnt play it aggressive because it was an odd man rush. Theres gonna be holes when youre forced to stay deeper in the net, especially up high.

How is it possible to even know which line is 2-4 the anymore. Pretty much all even and a cluster
