So Bieska is a hero now ... doing nothing for 59 mins and 59 seconds ... we lost the frickin game. yeah the time to respond was when we were down 2-0 or 3-0 hopefully we come out fired out next game
Daretodream
Positives: Booth, Bieksa, Tostitos, Tanev, Lack Negatives: Rest of the team Needs to spend some time in the pressbox and learn how to play defense: Edler Completely agree! Really like seeing Booth score a beauty, but the best part of the game was seeing bieksa destroy Boyle
Chronic.Canuck
Rough game. Hopefully they'll wake up for tomorrow.. Nice to see Booth shaking off the rust and getting back into form! He was all over the ice tonight and drove the (minimal) offence.
Lui's Knob
Luongo shows up a rookie by letting 3 straight... How much does he earn again? Kassian sloppy and invisible (when is this a failed project already) and scoring a problem again. Don't be fooled - the current roster doesn't cut it and won't make the playoffs. Gillis needs to either go young next year or grab some offense badly
AppleJack
Tanev was NOT a positive today. Call it unlucky or whatever but he did not have a good game. As A HUGE tanev fan I have to admit he wasn't very good. The fact he lost his cool and took a stupid penalty should show how bad his game was. CanucksSayEh
Booth is outscoring Burr Weise and Tostitos outplaying Kassian Lack playing as good or better than Lu Tanev has been better than Hamhuis all year and last Twins are slipping down the scoring race None of these things should be happening. Junkyard Dog
Looked to me like he gave WAY too much short-side. Might of, but it did deflect off Tanev's stick which gave Luongo an unpredictable shot to read. Plus Kreider was also in the slot, prime scoring area. Neversummer
damn, bieksa was on boyle like a pitbull, just rag-dolling the guy. i really liked that. sending a message to the team What's the message? The message is when nothing matters, I'm a tough MF ... And I'm tougher than Crosby ... I can kick your helmet.
Daretodream
Bieksa, Booth, Lack, Higgins, Hansen, Weise, decent games No shows Sedins Lou Kesler Edler Can't win like that! Higgins played well, and he has some sick moves, but he needs to keep his feet moving when he makes these moves.

-Vintage Canuck-
"I actually thought early on we had some chances. It's been a battle to score that first goal. We're trying to straighten it out" - Torts
Lui's Knob
Also nice to see torts send a message in the media and had his lunch handed to him by AV. Gillis has totaled this team and direction...

DownUndaCanuck
Just some stats from today's game: Booth's conditioning stint must have worked, he's scoring at a 20-30 goal pace again since coming back from it. Edler has the 2nd worst +/- in the league at -14, the only player at -15 is Yakupov. Unbelievable considering the next worse on our team is -7 for Sestito. Burrows now has 3 assists in 16 games and is a minus player. That is the stat line of a 4th liner if that, and he's playing 16 minutes on our top line for some reason. Now that we've fixed Booth, Burrows needs a kick in the head. He shouldn't get special treatment just because he generates chances and had success before - 16 games worth of chances and just 3 lowsy points is unacceptable. Demote him down the lineup the way Booth was and make him earn his spot or scratch him, because he's costing our top line some offence right now when there are plenty of other guys more capable than he is. Mr. Shakermaker
I'm sorry guys but neither side landed ONE PUNCH. Good on him for sticking up to the bigger guy but this wasn't even a fight, not one punch connected on either side
