RunningWild Posted December 9, 2013 Share Posted December 9, 2013 definitely in torts' dog house, and you can tell the relationship between them isn't the best.. i remember when kassian was asked about one of his miscues in the game, he responded with "i'm a project" (what torts called him in another interview) Torts needs to pair Kass with some good linemates or send him to the AHL.. 4th line minutes are useless for him I agree. A player like Kass on the 4th line playing no minutes is basically a joke. I understand he needed a 'message', but he's regressed under Torts. When Kass first came to Nucks, he had major defensive issues. Namely missed coverage of his man and trouble with zone exits. Last season, he improved immensely in those areas - only to regress this season under Torts. But he still has strong underlying #'s - which to me says "he's being misused".
