Dr. Crossbar
Have to give them credit that we're still in it. Could've easily been 3-0.
TheTruthHurts
Whoa, I thought the Vancouver back-check was just a legend.
EmilyM
That message would be sent if it were a more important player. But Weise was more of David Booth's peer this season. "If this could happen to him, it could happen to me" surely must have some spot in his mind.
DIBdaQUIB
Oh does he? Explains why he's good. The slot is never open when we're in the offensive zone. Like literally never. I miss those plays from a few seasons ago where the Sedins would find Burrows or Kesler or whoever else it was wide-open the slot and it would be a tap and for them On the other hand, the Nucks are by far the best in the league in taking the puck and driving for the corner or behind the net. hockeyville88
OMG Marc Andre Fleury just robbed Erik Karlsson in the OTT-PIT game. Check out the highlight of that one gang. More excitement in 5 seconds than in 2 periods of our game!
Dragonfruits
Have to give them credit that we're still in it. Could've easily been 3-0. been pretty even the 5 on 3 makes the scoring chances look one sided Canucks could easily be leading in this or tied hopefully they come out strong in the 3rd Daniel and Henrik need to put some hustle in their steps
CanucksSayEh
Daniel alone behind the defense, keeps his back turned to the net, passes back to the slot/point...... 7 mill 4 more years yo.

drdeath
I'm loving the refs tonight. Theyre just calling what they want to call. Both teams should have 6 or 7 PPs easily, but really would that benefit the Canucks to have 6-7 PPs and give Detroit 6-7 chances?
hockeyville88
On the other hand, the Nucks are by far the best in the league in taking the puck and driving for the corner or behind the net. If only there were nets there too lol
Heretic
Detroit has all the wierd names on their team. Reminds me of playing the Russians in the 70's.

Oliewud
I love torts for his motivation and passion but honestly the system he has implemented seems pretty one dimensional. Why can't we have a hybrid version of dump in chase/puck possession zone entry. Every single effing play is dump in chase and it generates NOTHING! Our best chances have been from our fourth line via dump in chase...it works with the physical guys but the skilled guys should enter the zone and set up!! TimberWolf
But Weise was more of David Booth's peer this season. "If this could happen to him, it could happen to me" surely must have some spot in his mind. Doubt it. Booth may be benched but not traded. I am guessing most GM's would prefer the Canucks buy him out.
Legend Killer
No finish yet, but Booth is easily one of the most noticeable players for the Canucks today. Maybe the Weise trade was a wake-up call that if you don't fit in, you're out of here? if it was that easy, i think booth would be gone a long time ago

Tom Sestito
The refs have literally nothing to do with this. AFAIC there's been two missed calls both ways. The two slashing the stick penalties we took on one shift, and they missed booth/lack getting interfered with.
1-d
On the other hand, the Nucks are by far the best in the league in taking the puck and driving for the corner or behind the net. ... and losing the puck without a SOG
-Vintage Canuck-
@patersonjeff Thought today's trade might catch the attention of a guy like #Canucks Hansen. 0 shot attempts/0 hits thru 2. #cleansheet
