Again, a 3 way deal might not be the strangest scenario this year.

We should get considerable assets for Kesler even if they might not be our major focus. Take a player like Sutter for example, MG might have been in love with him but JB might see him as a chip to another team. If Pittsburgh offered us Pouliot, Sutter, 1st then maybe only Pouliot is a piece we keep. Turn around and move Sutter, Hansen and Pitts 1st for Florida's pick leaving us the 1st and 6th overall.

Essentially, Kesler, Hansen for Pouliot, 1st overall. Unlikely but not impossible.

You think Florida would trade the 1st overall for Sutter, Hansen and a late first? You should share whatever it is your smoking today.

If you look at the HFBoard polls, many of them have changed their mind and voted for Nylander.

Remarkable what a combine can do isn't it?

A day in a gym and another day in an interview and omg it's the next Forsberg

I still need to see what Nylander does in the NA markets and at contract time before I am sold on him ;)

Oh, Carter just scored. So big guys please. Esp. when he's an Olympic gold medal winner and Kane isn't.

And around it goes. At least there's under a month left.

and Kane is a two time Stanley cup winner beat Carter when he was in Philly in finals last year too whenhe was in LA possibly again

Bennett couldn't do a single pull-up ? Do they not know what the combine consists of and perhaps maybe spend some time to try to do a pull up ahead of time?

Maybe he was throwing it to drop to a better team

He did 3 but none where good enough form to be counted.

The weird thought is: is doing well at the combine necessarily a good thing? Think of a guy with enough skill to put up huge points despite his (current) physical limitations, and then broadcast that forward once he has the skill and the physical training.

Not all, some you have to determine if they are not at peak because of laziness or delayed growth spurt...

It is an interesting thought though. maybe some kids dominate because they are (measurably) physically more advanced than their peers, an advantage they will lose going forward- there has to be an upper limit on some of these tests and the playing field will even out.

Alas, I am not versed enough to answer this question though.

Kane's unbelievable skill is why he is so good. You're truncating your independent variable in your argument when you make claims like that.

then your agreeing with me that size is irrelevant, lets draft nylander because he has more skill than ritchie
