Hopefully with cap space they address this need. Sedin-Sedin-Burr Higgins-Kesler-Hansen _-Matthias- Sestito-Richardson-_ That's where everything stands right meow amongst the forward lines. From where I sit, there will be lots of trades. I haven't even mentioned all the RFAs yet. Kassian, Schroeder, Dalpe are all guys who need contracts. I can see Schroeder and/or Dalpe either being part of a package deal or traded for picks at the draft. Shinkaruk will for sure start the season with the team, simply on account of his Bday being in October. Once he hits 20, if he isn't ready, down to the Comets he goes. Horvat is too good not to be on the team next year, so pencil him in. He's a man amongst boys down there in the O. Jensen is making great strides on the Comets. Hoping he pushes for a spot. Gaunce is good and I expect to see him up sometime next season if he isn't part of a package bringing in a highly skilled forward. I think MG will trade up the draft if we aren't #1. Higgins, Hansen, Schroeder, Dalpe are all taking up spots the other better prospects need. 4 slots to fill in the forward ranks. One likely filled by Kassian, one by Shinkaruk, the other by Horvat. Then one more left for 1 free agent. Just one...yeah, I don't buy that for a second. There is an opportunity for the team to get way better. MILES better. Just hope the deal is there. Have them all compete for that one spot in camp. Make roster adjustments accordingly by the position of the player who makes it.
