The next year, the star players return to their normal production and end up right back in the playoffs. The Canucks are not as far off as the sky is falling crew would love it to be. Has the team gotten a bit stale? Possibly, but there is no need to blown the whole thing up, either. But dude it's been a clear cut fall/decline since the peak of the core in 2011. Not saying move everyone but time to change the look of this team. You gotta look to move Kesler, maybe Burrows, and some defensemen. Our "depth" also hasn't had it easy. Injuries to Schroeder, Richardson, suspensions to Kassian, and others. He obviously will never admit it thought. IMO he is such a proud American, and at this stage in his career, and he knows the Canucks won't be contending anytime soon, he for sure would love to play for a contender in America.
