Chapman came in with 1 down in the 7th and saw it through, even had an at bat where he looked like a hitter! Of course, he struck out though.
ShakyWalton
That's a good way to take the crowd out of it early.
oldnews
um. wow. The Cubbies look like they're pushing this to game 7. That should be epic.
Beary Sweet
The way this game is going, Cubbies are over the Tribe. If this goes 7 though, I would have to give the edge to Tribe still as much as I want the Cubbies to win as they have home field advantage which they've taken advantage of so far during their playoff run
Green Building
Can Cleveland handle the pressure? Can Chicago? Who feels it more? Cubs as the best team in the majors with a 107 year Championship drought? Or Cleveland who would be poised to be one of less than a handful of teams to blow a 3-1 WS lead? Seems pretty even. Green Building
Jake Arrieta got a called strike gift to go up 0-1 on Naquin, who probably would have struck out anyways, but still.

oldnews
Absolutely horrible imo that these last two games are not in Chicago. Determined by a pathetic gimmick to attempt to arouse some interest in the meaningless all-star game. The Cubs had the best record in baseball - by a significant margin - were a full 9 wins better than Cleveland. Home field should be determined by the teams themselves, not some AL/NL dog and pony show.

Ghostsof1915
Just now, oldnews said: Could you imagine the atmosphere in Wrigley if this game were in Chicago? Or game 7? Annoying. I think the fans would gladly have the Cubs in in Cleveland if it means they win the World Series. In fact if they played on Mars and won, I think they'd be happy. RIZZO!!!!! ChuckNORRIS4Cup
I hope the Jays watched the game tonight and learned how not to always go for a homerun. The top of the 3rd inning, was amazing to watch imo, Cubs were just trying to get base hits and they did it flawlessly.

Something I think is beyond thier manager.
