Heretic
You guys must be dreaming to think that Gillis and Torts will be gone - current owner doesn't like to give away money for nothing - they have contracts and the Canucks would be on the hook for them - doesn't Torts have 3 years left? alt kilgore
Man the Ducks are light years ahead of the Canucks defensively. Reminds me of watching the Gold medal game, Can vs Sweden. They do have Getzlaf and Perry...

Jack Fig
What are the odd's that Hank's post game interview will have a lot of "we played pretty well for two periods", or "that's just not good enough"? 2:1 Or 1:2 Either way, not a longshot. JamesB
Really hope Tortorella is gone. Quite honestly, he is just an awful fit with this team. The Canucks are a relatively fragile/weak team that dominates with speed and finesse, yet Tortorella is trying to this team to play a grindy/gritty game base on strong defensive play which is the exact opposite of what this team is designed for. Terrible decision to bring him in and I hope he's gone.I was going to make the same comment but I will just agree with this. Obviously there is a debate between the "fire Gillis" camp and the "fire Torts" camp. But look at the evidence. Gillis has made mistakes but he did a lot of good things (and even the Hodgson for Kassian trade is starting to look good, especially if you compare the cap hits). But the team has just fallen off a cliff since bringing in Torts. He needs a young, big, high energy team for his system. Veteran high skill players just do not fit with his system.
