Love this series.

It's a team with Superstars vs a Hardworking Grind it out team.

Paul Martin is almost single-handedly outscoring Crosby, Neal and Malkin combined.

Just goes to show you that anyone can be shutdown. People get on the Sedins all the time for not producing against LA or Boston.

Look what happened to Crosby, Malkin etc. during their series vs Boston.

Thats playoff hockey and it's exciting. You can rely on just skill to win a 7 game series, its a war and when things get tuff you need the players that are willing to pay the price in order to win. Grind, bang, and get the garbage goals.

You can't play soft in playoffs, you need players to finish every check so that by game 3-4 players are double glancing to make sure someones not coming. The canucks since Jan, I think I only saw Booth out there finishing his checks. We need more of that with a combination of skill.

Sharks have a really good mixture, that fourth line with Torres and Brown has got in the heads of the Kings.

Glad to see the Blue Jackets fans get rewarded with their first home ice playoff win. They deserved in, and in exciting fashion too.

Agreed with everything you said. Sid and Malkin have a good amount of bad series between the two of them.

People are definitely too hard on the twins.

the difference is Fleury has playoff experience Bob doesn't

Fleury is now known for crapping the bed three straight years

Technically Bob saw playoff ice in 2 seasons with Philadelphia (7 games, 3 starts). Though they certainly did not help him much he was by far the worst goalie on the team and got shelled in almost every game he played in. It was really the last straw in what got him traded. His last game as a Flyer was a 10-3 playoff loss.

It is a possibility that Bob is a goalie who doesn't handle pressure well and his sudden surge as an elite goalie came from moving to a smaller market but now that the pressure is back on he is losing it again. But then again Pittsburgh did shell him in his 1 start against them this season chasing him out of net. And that 10-3 loss as a Flyer was to the Penguins. Pens may also just have his number.

It's really quite remarkable how porous the Penguins manage to be, year after year in the playoffs.

Lucky to sneak past the Isles last year, and again, getting exposed by an upstart.

Sure glad I don't like that team.

Pretty much sums up the Penguins for the last 3 seasons.

Yeah - add a couple more forwards at the deadline, lol.

And yet if you listen to folks around here, Shero is a gd genius.

Would be on my shortlist of the most over-rated GMs in the business for sure.

Fleury is the weakest link on the team. Pittsburgh with Crosby should have won more than one cup in recent years.

Fleury is one of the most over rated goaltenders in the nhl. Pittsburgh won its last cup despite of

Him because Crosby and Malkin carried the team to victory. Any goaltender that played reasonably well during that cup run with that team around him would have won it.

you clearly dont remember the 2 runs they had... the one they didnt win the cup fleury was amazing ... the year they won ... he wasnt great but he was amazing in the finals when it counted.... fleury was damn near the only reason they made it to the finals the first time... and was a huge reason they sealed the deal the second time... and they have never had good D just good offensive defensemen ..
