JohnLocke
Hey I'm going to be travelling soon. I'm booked for an international flight in economy class on air Canada. Does anyone have any idea if they offer free alcoholic beverages on international flights?
rampage
Yup, they're free on international flights
Dogbyte
Not to the States they aren't. I paid $7 or something. Unless you're premium then they are free. http://www.aircanada.com/en/travelinfo/onboard/dining/na/onboard/ Also they only take credit cards. Xbox
Air Canada will even chuck your luggage from 5 meters off the ground for you. Free Alcohol is compensation for any broken valuables. Happy flying!
aeromotacanucks
pretty sure depending of how far you go AC will give free alcohol or not... considering flights to/from USA and Mexico aren´t considered long-hauls I wouldn´t say you will get free boose. however anything more than it you will get free boose. I suppose... but just don´t drink too much. drunk passengers are boring and the altitude will make your hangover worse... if you´re afraid of long flights and want relax without take pills get some porn with you. it´s dirty but works all the time

Mr. Ambien
They give free booze on long flights? Wtf? I can't even get a free pre packaged sandwich during a 7 hour flight to Mexico. The booze is to cope with being in Mexico.
Denguin
They give free booze on long flights? Wtf? I can't even get a free pre packaged sandwich during a 7 hour flight to Mexico. Unfortunately Air Canada treats all of North America/"Sun" destinations the same as domestic.

Good guy West Jet gave us Live TV, I watched the Stanley Cup Playoffs last year!!! Have you not flown with Air Canada before? I fly with them very often both domestically and international and the entertainment system is free and has a large choice of movies and television shows? West Jet is the one that charges for the entertainement

West Jet is the one that charges for the entertainement On the contrary, Westjet offers TV channels for free (I remember there being a few dozen), and as a bonus, the GPS indicator with plane on-screen to show where you are. It's especially entertaining when the plane doesn't move at all on a flight from Calgary to Montreal, and you wake up from a several hour nap wondering why you're still in Alberta. Offensive Threat
I dont really mind paying for drinks on a flight when Im heading on vacation. A couple drinks on your way to Vegas or Hawaii or whatever helps everything go smoothly. Long as your not falling all over yourself by the time you land its all good. Kakanucks
I guess it would depend where you are flying to.. I don't think Air Canada counts North America as International....even though technically it is. But if you're flying to anywhere else, you get the free alcohol and free entertainment on the little screen in front of you... personally....I don't like flying Air Canada......
