Sooner rather than later Americans WILL rise up and cast down their oppressors. I for one cannot wait for that day to come. Hopefully by casting down a ballot. Canada can also if voter apathy doesn't degrade our democracy past the point of no return. If everyone votes candidates aren't able to get by on BS alone. Biggest problem is there is never any legitimate candidates to vote for. Brainless monkeys tied to private interest groups not knowing the ramifications of their choices. As of right now the coalition is only specially attacking ISIS meaning Assad will mostly likely gain from this, and like others have mentioned he has Russia and Iran backing him up. Also the title of this thread is very misleading and should be changed as ISIS is only being targeted. First ISIS will be downed then they will focus on rearming/training the FSA for another terrorist splinter group to remerge thus leading to another never-ending cycle of terrorism... Democracy only works IF people participate and even then it takes a long time to come around after the apathy we have ingrained in our system. The current group of cronies in power only have to sell themselves to a much smaller group of voters knowing they only need to reach a certain percentage to take power. I don't think they give a crap about what Isis says either, because they too realize it's a CIA stooge group.
