This has always been the rule. The question is how does a colour commentator in an NHL game not know that? He was adamant the penalty would come off the board. So...the question is, if the penalty counts, what if the Jets had scored - would that have counted? How about if the Ducks had scored again? Would they have 2 goals credited on the score sheet at the same time? Only the first goal scored counts (as stated above). Happened with Geoff Courtnall in Game 6 vs. the Rangers. Some faces looked like they just climbed within a few 100 M below the peak of Everest.
